MB 3rd Day Intro.png

At the start of this day, you shall again have fifteen seconds to choose which event you want to play as the game selects them in the order Super Stunt, Beast Hole, Bombs Away, Future Gate; press any button when the one you want is highlighted, and do it quickly, or you may end up with one you did not intend to play. This is also the only day in the game to have four events instead of just one or three, but the second one is arguably the hardest one.

Super Stunt (スーパースタント)[edit]

Before this event, you will be treated to a fourth short cutscene featuring Johnny, which explains that you will have to alternate pressing the first and third buttons to make your Numan run to the right, then press the second one to make him (or her in the case of Makoto and Sophia) jump once he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) has reached the springboard car and then alternate pressing those first and third ones to keep him (or her in the case of Makoto and Sophia) spinning, as he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) descends towards the ground; this event can also get voided by "faults".

Qualify: 29 spin
Record: Y.K, 40 spin
Try: 2 times

MB Super Stunt.png

Once the springboard car has appeared upon the screen, the text "PLAYER X 1ST TRY" (X being 1, 2, 3, or 4) will appear upon the screen as a shot of the car mechanic giving a thumbs-up appears under it; the camera shall then pan to the left and stop when it reaches your Numan, who will take his (or her, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) position at the starting line. Once the text "Ready...Go!" appears on the screen, you'll have to alternate pressing those first and third buttons to make your Numan run to the right, then press the second button to make him once he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) has reached the springboard car - and the text "NICE!" will then appear at the bottom of the screen as your Numan is propelled into the air and starts spinning around in a clockwise direction. You then have to alternate pressing the first and third buttons to keep him (or her, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) spinning, as he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) descends towards the ground - and once he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) has landed, the number of spins your Numan made will fly into view from the right side of the screen and he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) will show off for the crowd for a seventh time if it was over 29. Also, if you can't press the second button quickly enough, your Numan will crash into the springboard car as the text "THUD!" appears on the screen; the text "FAULT!" shall then come down into view from the top of the screen as the mechanic gives a "thumbs-down" below it and the attempt gets counted as such. The Kanji text Kaiten-sū (回転数) shall then appear on the screen with both Numans' number of spins below it, with the Kanji text Chōyaku kōdo (跳躍高度) and both Numans' travelled distance below it - and, if your number of spins was over 40, the text "WORLD RECORD" will appear on the screen, and you will have thirty seconds to enter your initials by using the first and third buttons to select the letters, then using the second button to confirm your choices. If there is only one player, the game will return to the day's intro screen, but if not, it shall proceed to a second, third or fourth Super Stunt event before doing so; this guide is going to cover the Beast Hole event next.

Beast Hole (ビーストホール)[edit]

Before this event, you will be treated to a short cutscene, featuring Rui Hu'an, which explains that you will have to use the first and third buttons to move left and right, and the second one to fire shots at the beasts to kill them; this is arguably the hardest event in the game because you can't afford to miss.

Qualify: 3150 points
Record: H.K, 4500 points
Try: 2 times

MB Beast Hole.png

Once your Numan has reappeared on the screen (in front of a gate with three beasts behind it), the text "PLAYER X 1ST TRY" (X being 1, 2, 3, or 4) will appear on the screen; the number 20 shall then appear above the text "Ready...Go!" as it starts counting down, the gate holding the beasts back in front of you opens up and your Numan starts travelling backwards into the hole. You shall then have to use your first and third buttons to make him (or her, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) move left and right, and the second one to fire shots at the beasts to kill them - and once the timer has run out and your Numan has made it out of the hole, the Kanji text Meichū-ritsu (命中率) shall appear on the screen with an accuracy percentage next to it. The game will then multiply the amount of points your Numan has scored, by 0.XXXX (XXXX being your accuracy percentage); your Numan's multiplied score will then fly into view from the right side of the screen, and he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) will show off for the crowd for the eighth time if it is over 3150. If you can't shoot a beast quickly enough, it will grab or even eat your Numan as the text "FAULT!" appears on the screen, and the attempt will be counted as such, as the text "YAAAAAAA!" appears on the screen; if your total score was over 4500 points, that text "WORLD RECORD" will appear on the screen, and you will have thirty seconds to enter your initials by using the first and third buttons to select the letters, then pressing the second button to confirm your choice - and if there is only one player, the game shall return to the day's intro screen, but if not, it shall proceed on to a second, third, or fourth Beast Hole event before doing so. This event can be extremely difficult to qualify for if you're a novice player, given that you cannot afford to miss any of the beasts, and if you should, your attempt shall immediately be invalidated if grabbed (or eaten) even if you managed to score over 3150 points.

Bombs Away (ボムズアウェイ)[edit]

Before this event, you will be treated to a short cutscene, featuring Sophia, which explains that you will have to hold the second button when the red light in the bottom-right corner of the screen comes on to make your Numan put his (or her in the case of Makoto and Sophia) hands on the front of the bomb and determine his (or her, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) bomb-throwing angle, then hold both the first and third buttons to build up his (or her, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) power gauge before he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) throws it away again; you need a lot of power to throw it.

Qualify: 4450m0
Record: A.M, 5800m0
Try: 2 times

MB Bombs Away.png

Once your Numan has reappeared upon the screen, the text "PLAYER X 1ST TRY" (X being 1, 2, 3 or 4) will appear on the screen; the camera will then zoom in on him (or her in the case of Makoto and Sophia) as the text "WARNING!" appears on the screen. The camera will then cut over to a shot of the grinning bomb flying towards your Numan - and the camera shall then cut back to and zoom out on him (or her in the case of Makoto and Sophia) as the blue and yellow lights in the bottom-right corner of the screen come on. Once that red light in the bottom-right corner of the screen has come on, you will have to hold the second button, to make your Numan place his (or her, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) hands on the front of the bomb (if you catch it just before it hits you, the text "NICE!" will appear on the screen), then hold those first and third buttons to build up his (or her, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) power gauge; he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) shall then throw it away and the camera will cut to a shot of it flying over the desert landscape as the game calculates its flying distance (it will explode on impact). The camera will then cut back to your Numan as the distance he (or she, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) threw the bomb flies into view from the right side of the screen (and he, or she in the case of Makoto and Sophia, will show off for the crowd for a ninth time if it was over 4450m0) - and if you cannot press the second button in time the bomb will hit your Numan and blow him (or her, in the case of Makoto and Sophia) away, as that text "KA-BOOM!" appears on the screen. The text "FAULT!" will then come down into view from the top of the screen as the explosion clears around your burnt-black Numan (and the attempt will be counted as such); if the flying distance of the bomb was more than 5800m0, the text "WORLD RECORD" will appear on the screen and you will have thirty seconds to enter your initials by using the first and third buttons to select the letters, then pressing the second button to confirm your choice. If there is only one player, the game will return to the third day's intro screen, but if not, it will proceed to a second, third, or fourth Bombs Away event before doing so - and there is only one more event left.

Future Gate (フューチャーゲート)[edit]

Before this event, you will be treated to a short cutscene featuring Makoto, which explains that you will have to use the buttons to make your Numan fire shots at the cannons as they emerge from the holes on the right, on the left and in the centre (but not to fire shots at the two types of innocent humans).

Qualify: 20400 points
Record: T.I, 25000 points
Try: 1 time

MB Future Gate.png

Once the camera pans down to your (and the second player's, or the randomly-generated CPU-controlled if there is only one or three players) Numan in a stadium, and the two arrows with the text "1P" and "2P" (or "CPU") on them have flown down into view from the top of the screen, they will show off for the crowd for a tenth time; they shall then begin to charge themselves up as the text "Ready...Go!" appears on the screen, and the text "WARNING!" will then appear upon the screen. A cannon will then emerge from one of the three holes in front of the two Numans - and once you have fired off a shot at it to destroy it you will receive between 1000 and 7650 points. Both Numans will now go back to charging themselves up as the text "WARNING!" appears upon the screen again and a second cannon emerges from a second of the three holes in front of them; once you have fired a shot at it to destroy it, you will again receive between 1000 and 7650 points. Both of the Numans' destruction times will be displayed at the bottom of the screen - and, once you've destroyed five cannons, the text "TEMPO UP!" will appear on the screen. The next time the text "WARNING!" appears on the screen both a cannon and a human will emerge from two of the three holes in front of your Numans; you shall have to miss the humans and hit the cannons, because if you do not, your Numan will get electrified, and you will lose between 500 and 3000 points. Once you have destroyed five more cannons, the text "TEMPO UP!" will appear on the screen again - and the next time the text "WARNING!" appears on the screen, a cannon and two humans will emerge from all three holes in front of the Numans. Again, you will have to miss the humans and hit the cannons; once you have destroyed two more cannons, the text "FINAL!" will appear above the text of "WARNING!" as a thirteenth cannon and two more humans emerge from all three holes in front of the Numans. Once you have fired a shot at it to destroy it, the Kanji/Katakana text Saisoku han'na supīdo (最速反応スピード) will appear on the screen, with both the Numans' fastest destruction times below it, followed by another Kanji/Katakana text Saitei han'no supīdo (最低反応スピード) with both Numans' slowest destruction times below it, and a third Kanji/Katakana text Heikin han'na supīdo (平均反応スピード) with both Numans' average destruction times below it - and both of the Numans will then show off for the crowd for an eleventh time (if your score was higher than 20400). If your score was higher than 25000 points, the text "WORLD RECORD" shall appear upon the screen, and you will have thirty seconds to enter your initials by using the first and third buttons to select the letters, then pressing that second button to confirm your choice; if there are only one or two players, the game will proceed to the fourth day, but if there are three or four players, it will proceed to a second Future Gate event before doing so. Again, if you failed some events this day, you will not be able to compete in some events on the next day - and, if you're a novice player, it is highly likely that you would have failed the Beast Hole event at least once.
