Power-Ups and Power-Downs[edit | edit source]

The game features several Power-Ups, all of which help you in different ways. They randomly appear whenever you destroy any of the bricks with your ball. But bear in mind that there are also few Power-Downs which can be unhelpful. Power-Ups and Power-Downs will be activated whenever you collect them with your bat. Be sure to collect them before they completely fall off the playfield.

Increase Bat Size Increase Size Bat Increase Bat Size is a Power-Up that will increase the size of your bat when you collect it, allowing it to have a greater reach for deflecting a ball towards it without letting the ball leave the bottom edge of the playfield and for catching other useful Power-Ups. However, this also means that it will be difficult to shoot at the bricks at the edges of the playfield with gun-themed Power-Ups. Increase Bat Size Power-Up will award you with one point when you collect it.
Decrease Bat Size Decrease Bat Size Decrease Bat Size is a Power-Down that will decrease the size of your bat when you collect it, causing it to have a smaller reach for deflecting a ball towards it without letting the ball leave the bottom edge of the playfield and for catching other useful Power-Ups. However, this also means that it will be easier to shoot at the bricks at the edges of the playfield with gun-themed Power-Ups. Decrease Bat Size Power-Down will award you with five points when you collect it.
Normal Ball to Power Ball Normal Ball to Power Ball Normal Ball to Power Ball is a Power-Up that will increase the size of your ball and which will allow it to go through the bricks whenever it destroys them when you collect it. Normal Ball to Power Ball is a very important Power-Up to collect if you want to finish the level faster. Normal Ball to Power Ball Power-Up will award you with four points when you collect it.
Power Ball to Normal Ball Power Ball to Normal Ball Power Ball to Normal Ball is a Power-Down that will cause Power Ball to return to it's normal size and strength when you collect it. Avoid collecting Power Ball to Normal Ball Power-Down unless there is no Normal Ball to Power Ball Power-Up present at all. Power Ball to Normal Ball Power-Down will award you with nine points when you collect it.
Normal Ball to Explosive Ball Normal Ball to Explosive Ball Normal Ball to Explosive Ball is a Power-Up that will change color of your ball from cyan-indigo to red-orange and which will allow it to go destroy bricks near the brick it destroys upon hit when you collect it, similarly to Explosive Bricks. Like Normal Ball to Power Ball Power-Up, Normal Ball to Explosive Ball is a very important Power-Up to collect if you want to finish the level faster. Normal Ball to Explosive Ball Power-Up will award you with four points when you collect it.
Explosive Ball to Normal Ball Explosive Ball to Normal Ball as seen ingame Power Ball to Normal Ball is a Power-Down that will cause Explosive Ball to return to it's normal size and strength when you collect it. Avoid collecting Explosive Ball to Normal Ball Power-Down unless there is no Normal Ball to Explosive Ball Power-Up present at all. Explosive Ball to Normal Ball Power-Down will award you with nine points when you collect it.
Ball Speed Up Ball Speed Up Ball Speed Up is a Power-Down that will increase the travelling speed of your ball when you collect it, making it much harder for you to deflect it towards your bat without letting the ball leave the bottom edge of the playfield and for catching other useful Power-Ups simultaneously. Pick Ball Speed Up Power-Down only if the current travelling speed of the ball is too slow for you to handle. Ball Speed Up Power-Down will award you with five points when you collect it.
Ball Slow Down Ball Slow Down Ball Slow Down is a Power-Up that will decrease the travelling speed of your ball when you collect it, making it much easier for you to deflect it towards your bat without letting the ball leave the bottom edge of the playfield and for catching other useful Power-Ups simultaneously. Pick Ball Slow Down Power-Up whenever the current travelling speed of the ball is too fast for you to handle. Ball Slow Down Power-Up will award you with two points when you collect it.
Triple Ball Triple Ball Triple Ball is a Power-Up that will cause your ball to split into three balls when you collect it, and if there are multiple balls present on the playfield, all of them will split into three balls as well. Like Normal Ball to Power Ball Power-Up, and Normal Ball to Explosive Ball Power-Up, Triple Ball is a very important Power-Up to collect if you want to finish the level faster. However, it can be hard to keep multiple balls at once on the playfield with your bat. Triple Ball Power-Up will award you with ten points when you collect it.
Bright Light Bright Light Bright Light is a Power-Up that will cause the playfield to be completely illuminated when you collect it. Bright Light is neither a useful Power-Up, nor a harmful Power-Down, so you can collect it whenever you want. Bright Light Power-Up will award you with five points when you collect it.
Darkness Darkness Bright Light is a Power-Down that will cause the playfield to be completely darkened when you collect it. Darkness is neither a harmful Power-Down, nor a useful Power-Down, so you can collect it whenever you want. Darkness Power-Down will award you with sixteen points when you collect it.
More Light More Light More Light is a Power-Up that will cause the playfield to be paritally illuminated when you collect it. Like Bright Light Power-Up, More Light is neither a useful Power-Up, nor a harmful Power-Down, so you can collect it whenever you want. More Light Power-Up will award you with six points when you collect it.
Less Light Less Light Less Light is a Power-Down that will cause the playfield to be paritally darkened when you collect it. Like Darkness Power-Down, Less Light is neither a harmful Power-Down, nor a useful Power-Down, so you can collect it whenever you want. Less Light Power-Up will award you with twelve points when you collect it.
Magnet Magnet Magnet is a Power-Up that will turn the deflector part of your bat with the magnet when you collect it, allowing you to catch the ball and then let it go whenever you want. Magnet Power-Up can help you aim your ball at the specific positions on which bricks are located. If you hold left button of your mouse while Magnet Power-Up is active, then the bat will just deflect the ball like in it's normal state. Also once you pick any gun-themed Power-Up, Magnet Power-Up will stop working. Magnet Power-Up will award you with eight points when you collect it.
Bullets Bullets Bullets is a Power-Up that will equip your bat with guns on it's left and right sides when you collect it, allowing you to shoot bullets at the bricks to destroy them. Bullets is a gun-themed Power-Up that requires of you to click the left button of your mouse in order to start firing. You will have only eight shots (icon at the right side at the top of the screen will show you how much ammo you have left for any of the gun-themed Power-Ups) from Bullets Power-Up, so make them count. Bullets Power-Up will award you with ten points when you collect it.
Rockets Rockets Rockets is a Power-Up that will equip your bat with rocket guns on it's left and right sides when you collect it, allowing you to shoot rockets at the bricks to destroy them, and the rockets can destroy bricks near the brick they destroy. Rockets is a gun-themed Power-Up that requires of you to click the left button of your mouse in order to start firing. You will have only four shots (icon at the right side at the top of the screen will show you how much ammo you have left for any of the gun-themed Power-Ups) from Rockets Power-Up, so make them count. Rockets Power-Up will award you with ten points when you collect it.
Torpedoes Torpedoes Torpedoes is a Power-Up that will equip your bat with a torpedo gun in the middle of itself when you collect it, allowing you to shoot torpedoes at the bricks to destroy them, and the torpedoes can pierce through the bricks they destroy as well as destroy bricks near the bricks they destroy. Torpedoes is a gun-themed Power-Up that requires of you to click the left button of your mouse in order to start firing. You will have only three shots (icon at the right side at the top of the screen will show you how much ammo you have left for any of the gun-themed Power-Ups) from Torpedos Power-Up, so make them count. Torpedoes Power-Up will award you with ten points when you collect it.
Jack - The Bat Killer Jack - The Bat Killer

Jack - The Bat Killer is a Power-Down that will automatically destroy your bat when you collect it, causing you to lose a life. Jack - The Bat Killer is a common, but exceptionally unhelpful Power-Down that you must never collect, no matter what the cost. Jack - The Bat Killer Power-Down will award you with twenty points when you collect it, but it's ability to instantly cause you to lose a life upon collection does not make it worth it at all.

Extra Life Extra Life Extra Life is a Power-Up that will give you extra life and another chance to win the level when you collect it. Extra Life is a fairly rare, but very helpful Power-Up that you must always pick whenever you see it. Having more lives wil be extremely important later on. Maximum limit for extra lives that you can have is eight, and once you reach that capacity, you cannot gain more extra lives. Extra Life will award you with five points when you collect it.
Next Level Next Level Next Level is a Power-Up that will automatically transfer you to the next level when you collect it, causing you to instantly pass the level which you are currently playing. Next Level Power-Up appears only when 95% of the bricks are destroyed aka when only five bricks are left to destroy it. You can ignore Next Level Power-Up if you want to destroy all the bricks all by yourself. Next Level Power-Up will award you with fifty points when you collect it.
Board Vibration Board Vibration Board Vibration is a Power-Down that will cause the entire playboard and the screen to shortly shake when you collect it. Board Vibration is neither a harmful Power-Down, nor a useful Power-Up, so you can collect it whenever you want. Board Vibration Power-Down will award you with 35 points when you collect it.
Red Component of Rainbow Red Component of Rainbow Red Component of Rainbow is a Power-Up that will give you a first component of the rainbow in shape of a letter "R" colored in red when you collect it. Red Component of Rainbow Power-Up will award you with one points when you collect it, or with seven hundred and seventy seven points when all other letter-themed Power-Ups are collected.
Orange Component of Rainbow Orange Component of Rainbow Orange Component of Rainbow is a Power-Up that will give you a first component of the rainbow in shape of a letter "A" colored in orange when you collect it.
