Magicka/Controls

Magicka supports play through mouse and keyboard, as well as playing with the gamepad. However, it is strongly recommended to use the keyboard and mouse combination, due to much faster input of spells.

Controls can only be changed in the main menu, rather than the in-game menu.

Elements

The most important is memorizing the elements, which are shown on screen in the bottom-left corner:

Q Water	W Life	E Shield	R Cold
A Lighting	S Arcane	D Earth	F Fire

If playing with a controller, you instead use an element wheel system by first pushing the right stick in one direction, then a quarter of the way to the side:
