MapleStory 2/EXP

Experience points (EXP) is an accumulated measure of a player's effort and progress.

For every level (Lv), when you has collected enough EXP, you advance to the next higher level. For example, level 49 to level 50.

Character Level

Character EXP is gained by training out in fields and other environments alone, or with other players. You can also do work in town and help out non-playing characters (NPCs).

In general, character Lv shows the heroism, fame and experience of your character in Maple World.

Higher character Lv gives you access to better skills, to better items, to more dangerous areas and to more elite organizations.
