Skills are moves learned throughout the game through two methods. All skills require "MP" unless they are passive. Skills are categorized into three groups. Once you reach level 10, you will obtain one Skill Point every time you level up. All skills have a maximum of five, ten, fifteen, or twenty skill points. Once a skill has reached its maximum skill points, it has reached its peak strength. Once you reach level 30, you gain two skill points for every level. You can save skill points to spend on skills you get after a job advancement.

There are three types of skills; Active, Passive, and Buffer. Active skills are attacks that have to be physically pushed in order to attack. Buffer skills are non-attacking skills that need to be pushed to activate and require MP. They usually last a while but have to be pushed again to recharge. Passive skills are skills that do not require MP nor to be pushed. They take action as soon as you add skill points to them.

Rogue[edit]

Everyone starts the game out as a rogue. A rogue starts out with no skills and only has a basic attack that requires no "MP" as its only method of protection. You are given a series of tutorial quests followed by a series of mandatory quests in order to reach level 10.
