Round 1[edit]

NCV1-MAP Round 1.png

The first regular round contains twenty platforms, seven regular doors, two power doors, three levers, five double-strength trampolines, and one Mewky; "double-strength" means the mice can bounce on the trampolines seven times before they break, as they only change colour after every second bounce (but will, as in the original Mappy, change back to green as soon as they land on a platform). Mappy himself also starts on the right side of every regular round, while Mapiko starts on the left side - and jumping on a trampoline is worth 10 points, while stunning a cat with a door or a lever is worth 50 points (unless they run into a door by themselves, in which case it will not register), and catching one cat in a microwave emitted by a power door is worth 800 points while catching two is worth 1200 points (Nyamco, who is present on all regular rounds, will also double the points if he is caught in a microwave).

If the mice take too long over any regular round, the text "HURRY" will fly across the screen from right to left; at this point, the cats start moving faster as the song heard from the C352 increases in tempo (jumping on trampolines shall also no longer award you 10 points and stunning the cats with a regular door or lever shall no longer award you 50 points). If either mouse is caught during the time between then and when the Gosenzo appears, the song will return to its original tempo as the cats return to their original speed and the caught mouse regenerates in his starting position (unless the life he lost was his last) - but if not, the Gosenzo shall eventually appear. As mentioned on the Gameplay page, the mice are not safe in mid-air from the Gosenzo; again, if either mouse dies after it appears, the song returns to its original tempo as the cats return to their original speed, and the Gosenzo disappears.

As mentioned on the main page, the stolen items both players retrieved are also displayed next to their mice at the end of every regular round in a two-player game; the text "WIN" will then be displayed to the right of the mouse who retrieved the most (or, if both mice have retrieved five stolen items, the higher value) items as he receives a 3000-point bonus, while the text "LOSE" is displayed to the right of the other one and he doesn't receive anything.

Round 2[edit]

The second regular round contains twenty platforms, eight regular doors (four of which have knobs on both sides), two power doors, three levers, three regular trampolines, five double-strength trampolines and two Mewkies; catching three cats in a microwave emitted by a power door is also worth 1600 points (Nyamco shall, again, double the value), and the mice can also bounce on the three regular trampolines four times to break them if they have to.

Round 3[edit]

The third regular round contains nineteen platforms, eight regular doors (four of which have knobs on both sides), two power doors, three levers, three regular trampolines, five double-strength trampolines and two Mewkies; the mice can also bounce on the three regular trampolines four times to break them if they have to. After clearing this round, the game shall announce its first bonus round, with the text of "BONUS ROUND. STING NCV1-MAP Red Balloon.gifS IN TIME.".

Round 4[edit]

The first bonus round contains forty-six regular trampolines, along with ten red balloons and one Nyamco balloon (which will be generated in one of four different positions, indicated by the dimmed images of it at the top of the map); Mappy also starts out on the left side of every bonus round while Mapiko starts out on the right one, and they will have thirty seconds to collect all eleven of the balloons between them. The trampolines over five of the balloons must also be broken through to collect them, in which case you'll have to cut off four unnecessary high bounces on them by jumping into a wall - and as mentioned on the main page, what is below the mice is also written out of the game as the round goes upwards, so if either mouse breaks a trampoline and goes off the bottom of the screen, he shall not get bounced back up again (unless the trampoline underneath the one that he broke is still present).

Once either mouse has collected the Nyamco balloon, the stars in the background shall glow; the text "EARNINGS" will then be displayed at the top of the screen as the balloons both players collected are displayed under their mice (they shall receive 200 points for every red balloon they collected and 2000 points for the Nyamco balloon). If Mappy (or Mapiko) collected all eleven of the balloons in a one-player game he will also receive a "PERFECT" bonus of 10000 points - however, in a two-player game, the mouse who collected the Nyamco balloon shall receive a "WIN" bonus of the same value.
