Main stage[edit]

Once Happy has dropped down onto a platform from the top of the screen, you shall have to drop down to the ground as an ant comes walking towards you; once you have kicked him away you will have to jump onto a can of Campbell's Tomato Soup as a spiked ball comes bouncing towards you. Once you've walked under it, you will have to jump up to another platform as you come to two chests - and once you have kicked both of these to open them, two rings will emerge from them. You will then have to drop back down to the ground as another ant comes walking towards you; once you have kicked him away you must jump over a second can of Campbell's Tomato Soup as two Mewkies from the three previous Mappy games come walking towards you. Once you have kicked both of these away, another spiked ball will come bouncing towards you - and once you have walked under it, you will have to jump up to a one-block platform and a third platform in turn as a third spiked ball comes bouncing towards you. Once you have walked under it you'll have to jump over a third can of Campbell's Tomato Soup, then drop back down to the ground to collect two coins (while watching for a bouncing apple core, which targets Happy's current position); once you have walked under it, you will have to jump onto a three-block platform and jump past a leaking fire hydrant to land on another three-block platform. You'll then have to drop back down to the ground, and collect four more coins - and once you have done so you have to jump back to the left onto the second three-block platform, jump to the right up to the first three steps of a twelve-block platform in turn and jump to the right while slowing your descent to avoid landing on three more bouncing spiked balls. Once you have landed on a fourth platform you shall have to jump over a fourth can of Campbell's Tomato Soup onto the first step of a seven-block platform, jump onto the platform's second and third steps in turn, and jump up to a fifth platform as you come to two more chests; once you have kicked both of them to open them, a third ring and a crystal shall emerge from them. You'll now have to drop down onto a four-block stack and the ground in turn, turn back to the left, jump up, and kick all four blocks in the stack to destroy them - and once you've done so, you will have to walk back to the left as you come to three more chests stacked on top of each other. Once you have jumped up and kicked each of them to open them three more crystals shall emerge from them; you will then have to jump up and kick each of five more blocks (which have been arranged to look like an X) to destroy them, as a white mouse and a snake come walking and slithering towards you. Once you kick them both to upturn them (causing the white mouse to rise diagonally upwards into the air, and stunning the snake for a short period of time), you will come to two more chests - and once you've kicked both of them to open them, a fifth crystal and a fourth ring will emerge from them. You'll then have to retrace your steps back to the right and jump past another leaking fire hydrant; once you have done so, you will come to a tenth chest. Once you've kicked it to open it, a rollerskate will emerge from it - and you will now have to jump up to a sixth platform, as a ghost comes hovering towards you. Once you kick him away, you must jump onto a two-block platform as another ghost comes hovering towards you; once you have kicked him away, you shall have to jump up onto the first three steps of a seventeen-block platform in turn as a third ant comes walking towards you. Once you have kicked him away you will come to two more chests - and once you have kicked both of them to open them a fifth ring and sixth crystal will emerge from them. You shall then have to jump up and kick both blocks in a two-block stack to destroy them; once you have done so, you will have to jump onto the fourth step of the seventeen-block platform, drop down onto a seventh platform to collect two more coins and jump onto two more platforms in turn to collect four more coins as a third Mewky comes walking towards you. Once you have kicked him away, you shall have to jump over a fifth can of Campbell's Tomato Soup, jump up, and kick both blocks in another two-block stack to destroy them - and once you have done that, you'll have to jump onto the first step of a six-block platform, jump up, kick the first block in a third three-block platform to destroy it, drop down to that six-block platform's second step, jump up and kick a thirteenth chest to open it (because once you have done so, a sixth ring will emerge from it). You'll then have to jump up and kick the second block in what was the third three-block platform to destroy it, drop down onto that six-block platform's fourth step, jump up, and kick a fourteenth chest to open it (because once you have done so, a seventh ring will emerge from it); once you have done this, you'll have to jump up and kick the third block in what was that third three-block platform to destroy it (because once you have done so, a money bag will emerge from it). You then have to drop down onto the six-block platform's fifth step and kick a fifteenth chest to destroy it (because once you have done so, an eighth ring will emerge from it) - and once you've done so you will have to jump onto the platform's sixth step and drop down to the ground while slowing your descent (collecting ten more coins while doing so). You shall now have to walk back to the left, jump up and kick the third, fifth, and ninth blocks in a nine-block platform to destroy them; once you've done so you will have to jump back to the left onto the platform's seventh block, jump up and kick its second block to destroy it (because once you have done so another money bag will emerge from it). You will now have to drop back down to the left onto the ground, as you come to two more chests (stacked on top of each other) - and once you've jumped up and kicked both of them to open them a ninth ring and a seventh crystal shall emerge from them. You shall now have to retrace your steps back to the right and jump past a third leaking fire hydrant (while watching for another bouncing apple core, which targets Happy's current position); once you've done so, you'll have to jump onto a tenth platform as you come to a sixteenth chest. Once you have kicked this one to open it, another rollerskate will emerge from it - and you shall now have to jump to the right while slowing your descent to avoid landing on a seventh spiked ball (collecting eighty-five more coins, that are arranged to resemble the Namco logo, while doing so). Once you land on the ground, a fourth Mewky will come walking towards you; once you've kicked him away you will have to jump up to two more platforms in turn as you come to a seventeenth chest. Once you have kicked it to open it, a third rollerskate will emerge from it - and you now have to drop back down to the ground as an eighth spiked ball comes bouncing towards you. Once you have walked under it you will come to two last chests; once you have kicked both of them to open them, two last crystals will emerge from them. You shall now have to jump past a fourth leaking fire hydrant - and once you have done so you will have to collect six more coins as you come to four more chests. Once you kick each of them to open them, four last crystals will emerge from them; you must now jump back left past the fourth fire hydrant, retrace your path back up to the twelfth platform, and jump over the fire hydrant to land on a thirteenth platform. You now have to jump over the mousehole to collect two last coins, walk back to the left and enter the mousehole to proceed to the slot machine for an eleventh time.

Slot machine[edit]

MK Slot Machine.jpg

The slot machine is much the same as it was on the previous stages (including Nyamco's dialogue), but spinning a skull on it can still cost you a house part if you had won one in a question box, or had bought one or more from the shop (in addition to the initial penalty of losing 20000 Yen, which is also the penalty for losing a bonus game); once you spin an item that is not a skull in one-player mode (after the possibility of spinning one more than once, which if done enough times may end up losing you all the Yen you collected) and Nyamco has described it, he shall speak the following Hiragana text:

げーむ は.... (Gēmu ha....)
まちがいさがし げーむ にゃん (Machigai-sa ga shigēmunyan)
ミューミューが とくいだにゃあ (Myūmyū ga toku ida nya a)

You may remember that in Zynk Oxhyde's English translation the above text translates to "I think Mew-mew is good at photo game." ("Mew-mew" being the happy-looking Mewky, whose head is displayed on a red background); once you've pressed A button to continue, the images on the slot machine's reels will change to the three anthropomorphic Mewkies' heads (remember that the "normal"-looking Mewky whose head is displayed on a green background is Mewta, while the sinister-looking one whose head's shown on a blue background is Mewchi) as Nyamco starts telling you who your opponent's going to be. Once you've spun the head of a specific Mewky, Nyamco shall finish telling you that this Mewky will be your opponent - and once you've pressed A button to continue, the game shall proceed to the "Spot the Difference" bonus game (refer to its section on Stage 3's page for a description). Once you've found five differences before the Mewky whose head you spun does, Nyamco will hail Happy as the winner and give him the prize you spun on the slot machine; once you have pushed A button to continue, the game will proceed to the shop for an eleventh time. If you buy the second part of the car from the shop, regardless of whether you had bought the first part of it from there or won it in a question box, the elephant will speak the following Hiragana text:

おや くるま がそろったね (Oya kuruma ga sorotta ne)
それじゃあほかのものを (Sorejāhokanomonowo)
まけてあげよう (Makete ageyō)

In the English translation, the above text gets translated to "Car bonus. Item prices dropped!"; the prices of the six remaining parts shall then be lowered:

Part Price after Swing Bonus Price after Car Bonus
Sun 85000 Yen 80000 Yen
Fence 14000 Yen 13000 Yen
Wall 94000 Yen 90000 Yen
Glass 24000 Yen 22000 Yen
Door 43000 Yen 41000 Yen
Chimney 66000 Yen 64000 Yen

The prices will then theoretically remain at these values for the rest of the game; however, as mentioned on Stage 5's page, if you should happen to spin a skull on the slot machine later and lose a car part, swing part, or flower as a result of doing it the prices will be raised back to the previous bonus value.

Shop[edit]

MK Shop 4.jpg

The shop is much the same as it was in the previous stages (including the elephant's dialogue); however, if you spun a skull on the slot machine in one-player mode earlier (and you did not win it back in a question box), the price for the part you lost shall have been returned to the wall, and if the part was either a flower, a swing part or a car part, the prices for the remaining ones will also have been raised back to the previous bonus value. Once you finish shopping, the screen will cut to the shot of the anthropomorphised Happy (looking at the picture of his partially-built house) - and once the game returns to the overworld map, you shall have to press right on the D-Pad and proceed to Stage 12, which is the third stage that is exclusive to one-player mode.
