Main stage[edit]

Once Happy has dropped down to the ground from the top of the screen, a beetle shall come running towards him; once you have kicked him away, you will have to jump onto the first branch of a tree and a fallen tree trunk in turn as you come to a crab who is walking back and forth. Once you have kicked him away, you shall have to jump onto two clouds in turn to collect ten coins as a hedgehog comes running towards you - and once you have kicked him away you will have to drop back down onto the fallen tree trunk as you come to three boxes. Once you have kicked each of them to open them, a ring, a rollerskate, and a crystal shall emerge from them; you will then have to jump over to the fourth step of a six-block platform as a bat comes flying towards you. Once you have kicked him away, you will have to drop back down to the left onto that platform's second step, turn back to the right, kick its first and second blocks to destroy them, and drop down onto its first step as you come to two more boxes - and once you have kicked both of them to open them, a second ring and crystal will emerge from them. You will then have to kick the fourth block in what is left of the platform to destroy it (because once you have done so, a money bag shall emerge from it); you will now have to jump over a vertically-moving egg while slowing your descent to land on the third branch of another tree, and jump back down to the ground to collect eight more coins. You will then have to jump onto a block, jump back to the left onto a third cloud, jump up onto the third step of a nine-block platform, drop down onto the platform's second step, turn back to the left and kick the platform's third block to destroy it - and once you have done so you will have to drop down onto the platform's first step as you come to a sixth box. Once you have kicked it to open it, a third crystal shall emerge from it; you will then have to jump up, kick the platform's second and first blocks to destroy them and kick its fourth one to destroy it (because once you have done so, a Rally-X Special Flag will emerge from it). You will then have to jump back to the right onto the platform's fifth block and a first horizontally-moving leaf in turn, and jump up to kick each of three more boxes to open them (because once you have done so, three more crystals will emerge from them) - and another bat will then come flying towards you. Once you have kicked him away, you will have to drop back down to the ground as another hedgehog comes running towards you; once you have kicked him away, you will have to jump onto the first and second branches of a third tree in turn as a third bat comes flying towards you. Once you've kicked him away, you shall have to jump up to the third branch of a fourth tree (while watching out for a second vertically-moving egg) as a fourth bat comes flying towards you - and once you have kicked him away, you will have to jump over to the first branch of a fifth tree, jump up to its second branch (while watching out for a third vertically-moving egg) and jump up to its third branch as a fifth bat comes flying towards you. Once you have kicked him away you will have to drop down onto the first branch of a sixth tree as a sixth bat comes flying towards you; once you've kicked him away you will have to jump up to the tree's second branch and another fallen tree trunk in turn as you come to another crab who is walking back and forth. Once you have kicked him away you shall come to four more boxes - and once you've kicked each of them to open them another rollerskate, two more crystals and a third ring will emerge from them. You will now have to jump over a hidden trapdoor in the fallen tree trunk (which shall catapult you backwards into a pit if you step on it) as you come to two more boxes; once you have kicked both of them to open them a fourth ring and a ninth crystal will emerge from them. You'll now have to jump over another hidden trapdoor in the fallen tree trunk to land on a three-block platform as a seventh bat comes flying towards you - and once you have kicked him away you will come to three more boxes. Once you have kicked each of them to open them, three more crystals will emerge from them; you will then have to drop back down to the left, turn back to the right (while slowing your descent), and kick the first and second blocks in the three-block platform to destroy them (because once you've done so, a Life Heart and another money bag will emerge from them). Once you have landed on the ground, you will have to retrace your steps back up to what is left of the three-block platform, and jump onto a fourth cloud as you come to three more boxes - and once you've kicked each box to open it, three more crystals will emerge from them. An eighth bat will then come flying towards you; once you've kicked him away, you'll have to jump over to the third branch of a seventh tree to collect five more coins as a ninth bat comes flying towards you. Once you have kicked him away you will have to jump up to the tree's fourth branch as you come to two more boxes - and once you have kicked both of them to open them, two more rings will emerge from them. You will now have to drop back down to the ground to collect eight more coins as you come to a third crab who is walking back and forth; once you have kicked him away, you will have to jump onto the top of a two-block stack, jump over to the first branch of an eighth tree, jump onto the tree's second branch, three more horizontally-moving leaves and the ground in turn, jump up to the first branch of a ninth tree, and jump back left onto a fifth cloud as you come to three more boxes. Once you have kicked each of them to open them two more rings and a sixteenth crystal shall emerge from them - and you'll now have to jump back to the left onto a sixth cloud as you come to two last boxes. Once you've kicked both of them to open them a ninth ring and a seventeenth crystal shall emerge from them; you shall now have to drop back down to the ground to collect twelve more coins, walk to the right, then enter the mousehole in order to proceed onward to the slot machine for the fourteenth and penultimate time in the game.

Slot machine[edit]

The slot machine is much the same as it was on the previous stages (including Nyamco's dialogue), but spinning a skull on it can still cost you a house part if you had won one in a question box, or had bought one or more from the shop (in addition to the initial penalty of losing 20000 Yen, which is also the penalty for losing a bonus game); once you spin an item that is not a skull in one-player mode (after the possibility of spinning one more than once, which if done enough times may end up losing you all the Yen you collected) and Nyamco has described it, he shall speak the following Hiragana text:

げーむ は.... (Gēmu ha....)
まちがいさがし げーむ にゃん (Machigai-sa ga shigēmunyan)
ミューミューが とくいだにゃあ (Myūmyū ga toku ida nya a)

You may remember that in Zynk Oxhyde's English translation the above text translates to "I think Mew-mew is good at photo game." ("Mew-mew" being the happy-looking Mewky, whose head is displayed on a red background); once you've pressed A button to continue, the images on the slot machine's reels will change to the three anthropomorphic Mewkies' heads (remember that the "normal"-looking Mewky whose head is displayed on a green background is Mewta, while the sinister-looking one whose head's shown on a blue background is Mewchi) as Nyamco starts telling you who your opponent's going to be. Once you've spun the head of a specific Mewky, Nyamco shall finish telling you that this Mewky will be your opponent - and once you've pressed A button to continue, the game shall proceed to the "Spot the Difference" bonus game (refer to its section on Stage 3's page for a description). Once you've found five differences before the Mewky whose head you spun does, Nyamco will hail Happy as the winner and give him the prize you spun on the slot machine; once you have pressed A button in order to continue playing, the game shall proceed onward to the shop for the fourteenth and penultimate time.

Shop[edit]

The shop is much the same as it was in the previous stages (including the elephant's dialogue); however, if you spun a skull on the slot machine in one-player mode earlier (and you did not win it back in a question box), the price for the part you lost shall have been returned to the wall, and if the part was either a flower, a swing part or a car part, the prices for the remaining ones will also have been raised back to the previous bonus value. Once you finish shopping, the screen will cut to the shot of the anthropomorphised Happy looking at the picture of his partially or totally-built house - and once the game returns to the overworld map, you must push up and left on the D-Pad to proceed to Stage 15 (which is where Mappy himself will be waiting for Happy).
