MK Stage 15.png

Main stage[edit]

Once Happy has dropped down onto a book from the top of the screen, you will have to drop down onto another book, as you come to two chests; once you've kicked both of these to open them, two rings will emerge from them. You will then have to drop down to the ground as you come to a third chest - and once you have kicked it to open it a third ring shall emerge from it. You shall now have to jump back onto the second and first books in turn, jump to the right onto the top of two more books in turn, walk to the right onto the top of a fifth book, drop down onto the top of a sixth book, and drop down onto a seventh book as you come to a brush which is moving back and forth; once you have kicked it away, you shall come to a fourth chest. Once you have kicked it to open it, a crystal will emerge from it - and a housefly will then come flying towards you. Once you have jumped up and kicked him away, you shall have to drop back down to the ground as you come to two more chests; once you have kicked both of these to open them, two more crystals shall emerge from them. You now have to jump back to the left onto the seventh book and the top of the sixth book in turn, then jump back to the right onto a two-block platform as a second housefly comes flying towards you - and once you kick him away you'll have to jump onto two more two-block platforms and the top of an eighth book in turn as you come to a crab who is walking back and forth. Once you have kicked him away, you will have to walk to the right onto the top of a ninth book, then drop down onto the top of a tenth one as you come to a seventh chest; once you have kicked this one to open it, a fourth ring will emerge from it. You will now have to jump onto the top of an eleventh book, then drop down onto the top of a twelfth one, as you come to an eighth chest - and once you've kicked it to open it, a fifth ring will emerge from it. You'll now have to drop down onto a bookshelf (which the eighth to twelfth books are standing on) and a six-block platform in turn; however, if you make Happy drop down from the bookshelf when he is not positioned above the six-block platform he will fall into a pit. You will now have to turn back to the left as you come to two more chests - and once you kick both of them to open them, a rollerskate and a sixth ring will emerge from them. You will then have to jump back up to the bookshelf, and jump over to the first level of a window (while watching out for a vertically-moving egg); once you have landed, you will come to another brush that is moving back and forth. Once you've kicked it away, a third housefly shall come flying towards you - and once you have kicked him away, you will have to jump over to a three-block platform as you come to an eleventh chest. Once you've kicked it to open it a fourth crystal will emerge from it; you will then have to jump over to another six-block platform as you come to another crab who is walking back and forth. Once you have kicked him away, you shall have to jump over to another three-block platform (while watching out for another vertically-moving egg) - and once you have landed, you shall come to a third brush, that is moving back and forth. Once you've kicked it away you will come to a twelfth chest; once you have kicked it to open it a fifth crystal will emerge from it. You shall then have to jump over to a one-block platform as a fourth housefly comes flying towards you - and once you have kicked him away, you will have to jump over to a third three-block platform as you come to a third crab who is walking back and forth. Once you have kicked him away, you shall come to a thirteenth chest; once you have kicked it to open it, a sixth crystal shall emerge from it. You will then have to jump over to another one-block platform (while watching out for a third vertically-moving egg), as two more houseflies come flying towards you - and once you kick both of these away, you shall come to a fourteenth chest. Once you've kicked it to open it, a seventh crystal will emerge from it; you will then have to jump onto a third one-block platform as you come to a fifteenth chest. Once you kick it to open it a seventh ring will emerge from it - and you then have to drop back down to the left onto a fourth two-block platform as you come to two more chests. Once you have kicked both of these to open them, an eighth crystal and ring shall emerge from them; you'll then have to jump to the right onto a fifth two-block platform as a seventh housefly comes flying towards you. Once you have kicked him away, you have to jump onto a sixth two-block platform and a four-block one in turn as two more houseflies come flying towards you - and once you have kicked both of them away you will come to an eighteenth chest. Once you have kicked it to open it, another rollerskate will emerge from it; you then have to retrace your steps back up to that third one-block platform, jump onto two more one-block platforms in turn, drop down onto a sixth one, and jump up to a seventh one (while watching for a fourth vertically-moving egg) as a tenth housefly comes flying towards you. Once you've kicked him away, you'll have to jump onto an eighth one-block platform (while watching out for a fifth vertically-moving egg), a ninth one-block platform and the second level of another bookshelf in turn as you come to a fourth crab who is walking back and forth - and once you've kicked him away you'll come to two more chests. Once you have kicked both of them to open them, a ninth crystal and ring will emerge from them; you will then have to drop down onto the bookshelf's first level as you come to a fourth brush that is moving back and forth. Once you have kicked it away you shall come to two more chests - and once you've kicked both of them to open them, a tenth ring and crystal will emerge from them. An eleventh housefly will then come flying towards you; once you've kicked him away, you'll have to jump onto a tenth one-block platform and a seventh two-block one in turn as a twelfth housefly comes flying towards you. Once you have kicked him away you will come to a twenty-third chest - and once you have kicked it to open it, an eleventh ring will emerge from it. You will then have to jump onto a fourth three-block platform while watching out for a sixth vertically-moving egg, as you come to a fifth crab who is walking back and forth; once you've kicked him away, you'll come to a twenty-fourth chest. Once you have kicked it to open it, a twelfth ring shall emerge from it - and you will now have to jump up to an eleventh one-block platform and a fifth three-block platform (while avoiding a seventh vertically-moving egg) in turn as you come to a fifth brush that is moving back and forth. Once you kick this one away a thirteenth housefly shall come flying towards you; once you have kicked him away, you shall come to a twenty-fifth chest. Once you have kicked it to open it an eleventh crystal will emerge from it - and you'll then have to jump onto the first level of a third bookshelf and over the mousehole, then jump back left onto the tops of two more books in turn and up to the bookshelf's second level (a fourteenth housefly and sixth brush shall also appear to your left at your landing). Once you've kicked both of them away, you will have to turn back to the right, as you come to four more chests; once you have kicked each of them to open them a thirteenth ring and three more crystals will emerge from them. You'll then have to walk back to the left, drop back down onto the bookshelf's first level, and walk back to the left to enter the mousehole in order to proceed to the slot machine for a fifteenth, and final, time.

Slot machine[edit]

MK Slot Machine.jpg

The slot machine is much the same as it was on the previous stages (including Nyamco's dialogue), but spinning a skull on it can still cost you a house part if you had won one in a question box, or had bought one or more from the shop (in addition to the initial penalty of losing 20000 Yen, which is also the penalty for losing a bonus game); once you spin an item that is not a skull in one-player mode (after the possibility of spinning one more than once, which if done enough times may end up losing you all the Yen you collected) and Nyamco has described it, he shall speak the following Hiragana text:

げーむ は.... (Gēmu ha....)
しりおし げーむ にゃんにゃん (Shiri oshi-gēmu nya n nya n)
ミューキチがとくいだにゃあ (Myūkichi ga toku ida nya a)

You may remember that in Zynk Oxhyde's English translation the above text is translated to "I think Mewchi's good at sumo game." (Mewchi being the sinister-looking Mewky, whose head is displayed on a blue background); once you've pressed A button to continue, the images on the slot machine's reels will change to the three anthropomorphic Mewkies' heads (remember that the "normal"-looking one whose head's displayed on a green background is Mewta, while the happy-looking one whose head's displayed on a red background is Mew-mew), as Nyamco starts telling you who your opponent will be. Once you've spun the head of a specific Mewky, Nyamco shall finish telling you that this Mewky shall be your opponent - and once you've pushed A button to continue, the game shall proceed to the "Push Off" bonus game (refer to its section on Stage 2's page for a description). Once you've knocked the Mewky whose head you spun over three times Nyamco shall hail Happy as the winner and give him the prize you spun on the slot machine; once you push A button to continue the game shall go to the shop for a fifteenth time (and the sixth where the elephant won't ask Rappy if he will be shopping).

Shop and one-player endings[edit]

MK Shop 4.jpg

The shop is much the same as it was in the previous stages (including the elephant's dialogue); however, if you spun a skull on the slot machine in one-player mode earlier (and you did not win it back in a question box), the price for the part you lost shall have been returned to the wall, and if the part was either a flower, a swing part or a car part, the prices for the remaining ones will also have been raised back to the previous bonus value. Once you finish shopping, a sepia picture of Happy's partially (or completely)-built house shall appear at the top of the screen, with the anthropomorphic Happy below it, as Picky (who, you may remember from Stage 9's page, is his prospective bride) walks back and forth to his right - and if the house is only partially-built she will stop moving and fume as Happy's face falls. Mappy himself shall now appear at the top of the screen to speak the following Hiragana/Katakana text (and as in two-player mode, every time a flashing inverted triangle appears at the bottom of the speech bubble, you have to press A button to continue):

MK Bad Ending (1P).jpg
なさけない (Nasakenai)
ハッピーよ もっとしょうじん (Happī yo motto shōjin)
して はやくいちにんまえの (Shite hayaku ichi ni n ma e no)
おとこになるんだちゅう (O toko ni naru nda chū)
そしてピッキーを むかえに (Soshite Pikkī wo mukae ni)
くるのだ (Kuru noda)
がんばるのだちゅう (Ganbaru noda chū)

The screen will then cut to a shot of the sepia picture of Happy's partially-built house, with the text "END", the non-anthropomorphic Happy running back and forth while holding a fence, Mappy sitting in a chair, and the fuming Picky below it; once it has faded out, the game will return to the title screen, and remain there until you turn off the console. However, if the house is completely built after he has left the shop for the final time, Picky will run over to him and kiss him on the cheek - and when Mappy appears at the top of the screen he will speak the following Hiragana/Katakana text (but again, every time a flashing inverted triangle appears at the bottom of his speech bubble, you shall have to press the A button button in order to make him continue speaking):

MK Good Ending (1P).jpg
よくがんばったちゅう (Yoku ganbattachū)
ハッピーよ おめでとう (Happī yo omedetō)
ピッキーとなかよくするちゅう (Pikkī to nakayoku suru chū)
ほんとうのしあわせは ふたりで (Hontō no shiawase ha futari de)
いっしょにつかむものだ (Issho ni tsukamu monoda)
これからもがんばるんだちゅう (Korekara mo ganbaru nda chū)

The screen shall then cut to a shot of the sepia picture of Happy's completely-built house with the text "¥XXXX00" ("¥XXXX00" being your final amount of Yen), the text "HAPPY END", Mappy sitting in a chair, and Happy with Picky below it; once it has faded out, a theatre curtain shall rise on a stage as the three Mewkies, Mappy and Nyamco, and Happy and Picky dance arm-in-arm with each other on it while Rappy runs backwards and forwards in his regular form in front of it. The game will then return to the title screen, and remain there until you turn off the console - and Mappy himself later went on to return in 16-bit form (along with a new, sunglasses-wearing, orange-uniformed Micro Police mouse named Mapiko) for Mappy Arrangement in 1995.
