MK Stage 7.png

Note: In two-player mode, this stage is named "Stage 4A", for it is one of two choices for the fourth stage (the other being Stage 8, which is "Stage 4B").

Main stage[edit]

Once Happy drops down onto the first-step of a five-book platform (and Rappy with him in two-player mode), you will have to drop down to the ground to collect four coins; once you have landed, you shall come to two chests. Once you have kicked both of them to open them, a rollerskate and a crystal will emerge from them - and a housefly will then come flying towards you. Once you've kicked him away, you will have to jump over a pit, while slowing your descent to collect two more coins as a beetle comes walking towards you; once you have kicked him away you will have to jump up to the first level of a window and back to the left onto a three-block platform in turn as you come to a brush that is moving back and forth. Once you have kicked it away, you will have to jump back to the right up to the window's second level as you come to another brush that is moving back and forth - and once you've kicked it away, you'll come to three more chests. Once you have kicked each of them to open them, two rings and another crystal shall emerge from them; you will then have to drop back down to the ground, as you come to two more chests. Once you have kicked both of these to open them, two more rings will emerge from them; you will now have to jump over to another three-block platform while slowing your descent. Once you have landed, another housefly will come flying towards you - and once you have kicked him away you will come to two more chests. Once you have kicked both of them to open them, two more rings will emerge from them; you will now have to jump over to a third three-block platform while slowing your descent. Once you have landed a third housefly will come flying towards you - and once you've kicked him away, you will come to two more chests. Once you have kicked both of these to open them, two more crystals will emerge from them; you shall then have to jump over to a two-block platform, while slowing your descent. Once you have landed, a fourth housefly will come flying towards you - and once you have kicked him away, you will come up to two more chests. Once you have kicked both of them to open them, two more crystals will emerge from them; you will then have to jump over to another two-block platform while slowing your descent. Once you have landed, a fifth housefly will come flying towards you - and once you have kicked him away, you will have to jump over to a sixth book as another beetle comes walking towards you. Once you have kicked him away, you will have to jump up to a four-block platform, jump back to the left and kick the second block in a third two-block platform to destroy it (because once you have done so, a Rally-X Special Flag will emerge from it); you'll then have to drop back down onto that sixth book, as you come to two more chests. Once you've kicked both of these to open them, a seventh crystal and ring will emerge from them - and a sixth housefly shall then come flying towards you. Once you have kicked him away, you will have to drop back down to the ground, jump up and kick a sixteenth chest to open it (because once you've done so an eighth ring will emerge from it); you shall now come to two more chests. Once you have kicked both of them to open them, an eighth crystal and ninth ring shall emerge from them - and you will then have to jump back to the left onto that sixth book and the four-block platform in turn, jump back to the right, and kick the first block in another four-block platform to destroy it (because once you do this, a money bag shall emerge from it). Once you have landed on the remainder of the four-block platform, you'll have to jump over to a seventh book while slowing your descent to collect four more coins; once you have landed, you shall come to a third brush that is moving back and forth. Once you have kicked it away, you will come to two more chests - and once you have kicked both of these to open them, two more crystals shall emerge from them. You will then have to jump onto an eighth book as you come to a fourth brush that is moving back and forth; once you have kicked it away, you shall come to two more chests. Once you have kicked both of them to open them, an eleventh crystal and tenth ring will emerge from them - and you'll then have to jump onto the top of a ninth book, as a seventh housefly comes flying towards you. Once you've kicked him away, you shall have to jump over a fourth pit while slowing your descent; once you have landed, you will come to a fifth brush that is moving back and forth. Once you've kicked it away, you will come to two more chests - and once you have kicked both of these to open them, two more crystals will emerge from them. You shall now have to jump up to the first level of another window, as you come to a sixth brush that's moving back and forth; once you have kicked it away you shall come to two more chests. Once you have kicked both of them to open them, two more rings will emerge from them - and you will then have to drop back down to the ground, as you come to two more chests. Once you have kicked both of them to open them, two more rings shall emerge from them; you'll now have to jump over two one-block platforms in turn while slowing your descent to kick a twenty-ninth chest and open it (because once you have done so, a fourteenth crystal will emerge from it). You will then have to jump onto a fourth three-block platform as you come to two more chests - and once you've kicked both of these to open them, two more crystals shall emerge from them. An eighth housefly will then come flying towards you; once you've kicked him away you have to jump over to a fifth three-block platform as you come up to two more chests. Once you've kicked both of these to open them, two more crystals will emerge from them - and a ninth housefly will then come flying towards you. Once you have kicked him away you'll have to jump over to a fourth two-block platform as you come to a thirty-fourth chest; once you have kicked it to open it, a nineteenth crystal will emerge from it. A tenth housefly will then come flying towards you - and once you kick him away you will have to jump over to a sixth three-block platform as you come up to two more chests. Once you have kicked both of them to open them two more crystals shall emerge from them; an eleventh housefly shall now come flying towards you. Once you've kicked him away you will have to jump over to a tenth book while slowing your descent - and once you land, you'll have to jump onto an eleventh book to collect three more coins. You will now come to a seventh brush that is moving back and forth; once you have kicked it away, you shall have to jump onto a third one-block platform and kick a thirty-seventh chest to open it (because once you have done so, another rollerskate will emerge from it). You will then have to jump up to the second level of a third window, as you come to two last chests - and once you've kicked both of them to open them, two last crystals will emerge from them. You will then have to drop back down to the ground to collect four last coins and walk right or left into the mousehole (depending on where you'd landed) to go on to the slot machine.

Slot machine[edit]

MK Slot Machine.jpg

Note: If you spin a Maneki Neko, Nyamco head or Happy head on the slot machine in two-player mode, then win the bonus game, Nyamco shall ask whether you want to steal a part from (or trade one with) the other player or not; if you answer in the negative, you shall be given 20000 Yen instead.

The slot machine is much the same as it was on the previous stages (including Nyamco's dialogue), but spinning a skull on it can still cost you a house part if you had won one in a question box, or had bought one or more from the shop (in addition to the initial penalty of losing 20000 Yen, which is also the penalty for losing a bonus game); once you spin an item that is not a skull in one-player mode (after the possibility of spinning one more than once, which if done enough times may end up losing you all the Yen you collected) and Nyamco has described it, he shall speak the following Hiragana text:

げーむ は.... (Gēmu ha....)
しりおし げーむ にゃんにゃん (Shiri oshi-gēmu nya n nya n)
ミューキチがとくいだにゃあ (Myūkichi ga toku ida nya a)

You may remember that in Zynk Oxhyde's English translation the above text is translated to "I think Mewchi's good at sumo game." (Mewchi being the sinister-looking Mewky, whose head is displayed on a blue background); once you've pressed A button to continue, the images on the slot machine's reels will change to the three anthropomorphic Mewkies' heads (remember that the "normal"-looking one whose head's displayed on a green background is Mewta, while the happy-looking one whose head's displayed on a red background is Mew-mew), as Nyamco starts telling you who your opponent will be. Once you've spun the head of a specific Mewky, Nyamco shall finish telling you that this Mewky shall be your opponent - and once you've pushed A button to continue, the game shall proceed to the "Push Off" bonus game (refer to its section on Stage 2's page for a description). Once you've knocked the Mewky whose head you spun over three times Nyamco shall hail Happy as the winner and give him the prize you spun on the slot machine; once you have pushed A button to continue, the game will proceed to the shop for a seventh time. However, once Nyamco has finished describing the item you spun in two-player mode he will speak the following Hiragana text instead (which you may again remember translates as "Next photo bonus game!"):

つぎの... (Tsugi no...)
まちがいさがし げーむ に (Machigai-sa ga shigēmu ni)
かったほうに あげるにゃあ (Katta hō ni ageru nya a)

Once you have pressed A button to continue, the game will proceed to the "Spot the Difference" bonus game (refer to its section on Stage 1's page for a description); once either mouse has found five differences, Nyamco will hail him as the winner, and give him the prize you spun on the slot machine.

Shop[edit]

MK Shop 3.jpg

The shop is much the same as it was in the previous stages (including the elephant's dialogue); however, if you spun a skull on the slot machine in one-player mode earlier (and you did not win it back in a question box), the price for the part you lost shall have been returned to the wall, and if the part was either a flower or swing part, the prices for the remaining ones shall also have been raised back to those of the previous bonus value. Once you (or both players in two-player mode) finish shopping, the screen will cut to the shot of the anthropomorphised Happy (and Rappy in two-player mode), looking at the pictures of their partially-built houses - and once the game returns to the overworld map, you'll have to push left on the D-Pad in one-player mode to proceed to Stage 8, or press right and up on the D-Pad in two-player mode to proceed to "Stage 5" (where Mappy himself shall be waiting for his sons).
