776 B.C.[edit]

Mario has entered the museum and he is in the main hall that has eight doors, seven of which are immediately available to enter. The last door to the far right is where Bowser is located and is not accessible due to the stop sign in the way (Why would Mario even follow this during times of peril?). The only way to get in there is if you return all 14 historical artifacts to their original time and location. But that's still not enough, since Mario will still have to solve a 3 question test to enter the door.

Start with the first door, to get up there use the Starman statue as a platform. The next area will look as if it is a stage from Mario Bros. and is played the same way. There are three Koopas and you must defeat them in order to get the artifact and travel through time. To defeat the Koopas you need to stand below a platform and wait for one of them to move right above you. When a Koopa is right on top of you, jump and part of the platform will move and trip the Koopa. Now that he's on the floor you have to touch him to knock him off. Once you defeat all the Koopas, the last one will drop an item, in this case it is the Torch. Pick up the Torch by crouching and enter the Timulator through the pipe to transport yourself to 776 B.C.

You will then find yourself back in time in the Olympic Coliseum (that has modern day flags flags for some reason). Run all the way to the far right and you should find the large Olympic cauldron (the big white object). Jump on the cauldron and press Select button to select the Torch. When it is in the item box above press Start button to use it and a screen with a newspaper will come up and congratulate you.

1879[edit]

Mario will now return outside into the large room. You will now have to go through the door again since they all have two items each. Defeat all the Koopas just as last time and the last Koopa should drop the Light Bulb. Pick it up and go through the Time Machine. This time set the year to 1879 and you should arrive at Thomas Edison's House (and compared to Mario he must have been a giant). Go to the last bookcase with the phonograph on it and place the Light Bulb there. Another Newspaper should come up and congratulate you once again.

THANK YOU - If you hadn't returned Edison's LIGHTBULB we would all be in the dark!

Mario will appear in front of the door and he will proceed to seal it off with bricks.
