Modes[edit | edit source]

Solo[edit | edit source]

One player mode where players duel a set of opponents with special conditions ( a 1 vs 1 one duel with special condition on each of Mario Party 7 boards) Wining this mode unlock the final browser themed board in party mode.

Party mode[edit | edit source]

The core mode of any Mario party Game.

Setup[edit | edit source]

After you press Start button to get past the title screen, the game will give you warning messages if you don't have the Gamecube Mic inserted in slot B and a memory card in slot A.

Microphone[edit | edit source]

Microphone Minigames can still be played without the microphone, but you'll have to go to the Control Room and set the microphone to "Use Controller." This lets you press R button to show a small window on the screen with the possible commands. Use Neutral control to select a command and A button to give it. Some minigames are easier to play with the controller. Others, like Mathemortician, are more difficult to play with the controller.

Memory Card[edit | edit source]

The memory card must be in slot A for the game to recognize it. If you choose to play without one, you'll lose all your data every time you return to the title screen. Mario Party 7 requires six blocks of data. This includes all three save files.

Spaces[edit | edit source]

Stop on a space to trigger an event. Precisely what happens depends on its type.

  • Blue Space: Gain three coins.
  • Red Space: Lose three coins.
  • Green Space: Trigger a board specific event.
