Wiggler’s Garden[edit]
Wiggler needs your help, a Piranha Plant is ruining his garden, whew. When the board starts(Note: Wiggler’s Garden doesn’t have that many threats except for Piranha Plant on the top well unless you get lucky then it won’t shoot a fireball, if your unlucky, it will forcing you to lose 10 coins in the process, be careful!), hit the dice block, if you didn’t do a higher number and you don’t go first, it’s ok, afterwards, not just you, the other guys are also rewarded with 10 coins, be mindful, after telling where the Star is located, if you didn’t go first, the other guys do, wait for them to finish their turn which takes forever, wish there was a way to speed this up, no wait, there isn’t, gosh darn it, oh well, we tried ok, thank you, after they have taken their turns, a mini game begins, the mini games are random so you don’t know which one you’re to choose, after the mini game is over, if you won, you earn 10 coins, but if you didn’t prepare to be lost by the other guys which is bad news, if they get more stars from coins they earn on the board and mini games than you, you’ll lose and start the board all over again, Mario Party is luck, so you don’t know if your going to win or not, after 10 turns, if you did win and earn more stars then they did, you finally fight that Rotten Piranha Plant that was ruining Wiggler’s Garden the whole time(note: don’t worry, if you lose this time against Piranha Plant, you can try again without having to start the board all over again, thank goodness or you would have thrown your Nintendo DS across the room for real out of frustration, just don’t say no, quit story mode or turn off your Nintendo DS, thank you, we don’t want you to go Berserk today, thank you.), when the fight starts, your on the top of the screen and must watch out what this Piranha Plant will do and the text right by you will tell you how to defeat this carnivorous plant, after, it will shoot out black seeds, you must throw them back at the Plant, it’ll eat them and you’ll damage it, also it’ll try suck you in it’s mouth, if it does, you’ll take damage, be careful, this battle is easy, so it should present no challenge at all, after it’s defeated and you damage it 3 times, Victory is yours, take that plant! Wiggler’s Garden is saved and now he’s happy and he gives them one of the sky crystal pieces, but Toadette’s music room is next! Be prepared!
Toadette’s Music Room[edit]
Toadette needs your help, Hammer Bro has taken over her music room, when the board starts, same as before, earn more stars then the guys(note: to win this board, you talk to music notes and they trade you for stars for a the current amount of coins, here they are: blue 5 coins, green 10 coins, yellow 15 coins, orange 20 coins and red 30 coins, watch out though, this one can be a little tricky at times, but you’ll win sometime, good luck)and you’ll fight the hammer bro, this fight is like Simon in says, he can be tricky and hard if you don’t know what your doing especially the 3rd, watch carefully and repeat what he did and damage him with a flying music note, but take too long or not remember it and accidentally do the wrong, he’ll damage you, lose a heart and laugh, so make sure the hammer bro doesn’t do that, you don’t want him beat you, it’s like he’s taunting you that did it wrong, alright time to teach this nasty hammer bro what were made of! 2nd one, he’ll go little faster and do it 4 times, increased chance of not remembering it, be cautious, then you should damage him, 3rd is where things get harder, faster and 5, oh dear, if our hero loses here on this final faster and hard one, then it’s back at the beginning of the boss battle, to make sure it doesn’t happen, do it correctly and hammer bro should be down, congratulations, Toadette’s music room is saved from the nasty hammer bro, now she is happy and gives the heroes the 2nd piece of the sky crystal, the heroes now progress to DK Stone Statue, get ready!
DK Stone Statue[edit]
We warned you that when DK ran off in the intro cutscene, now look what happened! The big ape is stoned, wricked with a grin and holds a barrel above him. Not like it was caused by Medusa or anything, what will our heroes do now? What actually turned DK into stone was not Medusa, it was Bowser’s following minion, Dry Bones, he’ll pay for this, but for now, same thing, just earn more stars before they do, if you did(note: the Star location up there doesn’t go to a different spot, it stays in the same spot after someone spent coins on it, instead, if you have enough coins, you can buy as much as you like as long as you have lots of coins usually from blue spaces and won from mini games, don’t let your opponents win, if they do, they’ll have the coins instead, let your yourself have them all to win this board or you won’t proceed through the story, then don’t give up and lose, remember we what we said? Don’t listen to those guys, listen to us, Thank you. also be a lookout for Dry Bones in this board, if you step on the green spaces when going to the right path of the board, his coffin will send you back to the beginning of the board,take this path if your just want to play it risky and trying to get to the Star faster or choose the safer and do not stop on the barrel spaces, a barrel will come outta nowhere, charge at you before it’s outta here, forcing you to lose 10 coins, yikes! Be careful. That’s the only dangers on this board, be careful.), then you should fight Dry Bones, when the fight starts, Dry Bones will start wondering around, don’t bump into him or you’ll lose a heart, what you need to do is pound the correct switches to damage him, the ones that glow are ones you must ground pound, the non glowing ones are the ones you must not ground pound, it’ll cost you damage and you’ll waste precious time, this battle should be easy and straightforward if you know what your doing, damage Dry Bones 5 times and you’ll win, after Dry Bones is defeated, DK is finally not stone anymore, Diddy Kong is thankfully and happy toward him, he gives you and the other heroes the 3rd piece of the sky crystal, but watch out! Kamek is waiting for you and the other heroes in his library next, look out and proceed with caution!
Kamek’s Library[edit]
In order to get the 4th piece of the sky crystal, the heroes must go into Kamek’s Library, when the board starts, same thing, earn more stars so they won’t, good luck(note: Kamek’s Library can be dangerous and tricky, in order to get a star, you must look in 3 treasure chest, if you choose the wrong one, it will grow monster teeth and spit you back at the start, other one just gives you 10 coins and the correct gives you it, it’s guessing one on this board, the dangers of this board is the books that warp and the most dangerous one of all is landing near Kamek’s crystal ball replacing all of your and the opponents current items into cursed dice blocks, you don’t want these, avoid landing near Kamek’s crystal ball as much as you can.), once you beaten them again and earned more stars, it’s time to face Kamek, first a stupid elderly white mustached shows up and tells how to get to him, gramps, we don’t need your stupid advice, just our advice, then he disappears, finally, trying, to reach him, you must go in a first person shoot em up gameplay style, shooting books and avoiding falling shelves, once you get in where Kamek is, your goal to spray his rimmed glasses with ink where he can’t see anything, goes nuts and makes books fall off and damages himself, but you need to careful, he casts magic at you where you need to aim, avoid them and now’s your chance, once you do, now he can’t see anything, goes insane, and makes books fall off, one falls above him and damages him(caution: you can take damage from the falling books that come your way if your in their range while Kamek is attempting to go crazy and wipe off the ink from his rimmed glasses where you sprayed at and he needs to see or he’ll fall to the ground. Be cautious.), only 4 more hits, then Kamek’s done for and he’ll give up the 4th piece of the sky crystal, but when you get to the final one, he has 1 more trick up his sleeve, he’ll make own books where need to survive and avoid getting hit so much trying to aim at him, don’t give up now! Once you survive that, if your fast enough, he’ll fall down to the ground for sure. Good job, the 4th piece of the sky crystal is yours...no not right now gramps, ignore him guys and just go, Bowser’s Pinball is next, this is final one where Bowser and Bowser Jr lurks, the next one will not mess around, be prepared! GO!
Bowser’s Pinball[edit]
whew. We made it, once your ready, start the board and complete it by earning stars then anyone else to face Bowser(Bowser Jr will just watch), the king of the Koopas himself(caution: this is the hardest board in the game by far to win and collecting stars in this board can be brutal, well not too brutal just if you go inside with Bowser spaces where you lose a lot stars which is very likely, the other 1 is really rare, unless trapped in the other one, roll a high number, but not low number, that’s where it occurs, anyways, well, it’s the final board anyways, what do you expect? This board has dangerous stuff ranging from a trumpet that launches you to the top side, at beginning, oh please, have to get lucky to get 3 of the same one, 1 that takes away all your coins if you do it and it’s a risk and reward type of thing, land on the ? spaces to get sent inside the inner side of pinball machine, this is either really good or it can be really bad, if good enough, you’ll earn yourself free stars, but this is really rare to come by, then your a lucky guy, but if unlucky, you’ll land in the Bowser zone, roll a high number if you want to get outta here, roll a low number and you’ll meet your doom, that’s all and be careful out there.), once you completed the hardest board in the game, it’s time face against Bowser, make sure you your ready, he’s not easy, he’s difficult unless you know his pattern, dodge swiftly and damage him, otherwise, it’ll cost you hearts if you just rush this one, watch yourself, once Bowser is through talking to you, he’ll use his Minimizer and transform into a golden snake-like creature, a battle begins, to damage him, run toward but stay a close distance to avoid losing a heart because he goes wildly and not gentle. Then punch his red spot but being careful not to get hit, he’ll transform into something else, his attack pattern changes, he’ll confuse you with the old attacks new attacks, be very careful around Bowser or you’ll lose one of your hearts in this form, then he goes...alright, but rush us ok Mario or someone your playing as, thank you, yep yep yep YEP, now, just wow, anyways, this is the final thing he’ll transform before he’s beaten again by you, much faster, this is most dangerous yet, 3 hits then he’s down, after a intense, difficult, brutal and long fight, Bowser is beaten, congratulations, you’ve beaten the story mode of Mario Party DS, watch the credits and rest from playing, thank you. On to the ending and credits.
Ending[edit]
Finally our heroes went through 5 boards and beaten Bowser, DK rushes in and breaks Minimizer, Bowser and Bowser Jr don’t like that and go angry, but once it breaks, everyone returns to normal size from being mini size for too way long, but Bowser and Bowser Jr become nice to Mario and friends, thus, a happy ending, watch the credits.
