This challenge is really easy. The AI is stupid and will likely not tackle you even if you go for a Megastrike. Just attempt a Megastrike and you should complete the challenge.

Sibling Rivalry! (Luigi)

• Objective: You are down by two goals. Come back to win!
• Home Team: Luigi, Koopa, Koopa
• Away Team: Mario, Dry Bones, Monty Mole, Toad
• Skill Level: Rookie
• Stadium: The Wastelands
• Time Limit: 1:00
• Score: 1-3

If you went undefeated in the Fire Cup then you should have no trouble with this challenge. A well executed Megastrike will put you in the lead easily.

This Monkey Shines! (DK)

• Objective: You are losing 0-3. Come back to win!
• Home Team: DK, Toad, Toad, Boo
• Away Team: Petey, Birdo, Monty Mole, Dry Bones
• Skill Level: Professional
• Stadium: Stormship Stadium
• Time Limit: 2:45
• Score: 0-3

You will rely on DK to make most of your goals here, or Boo if you've mastered his Deke Score. Just do a charge pass or two and pass to DK and shoot. Do a Megastrike if you have the chance. Watch out for the electrical storms and Dry Bones's high speed and defense.

Battle For The Crown! (Peach)

• Objective: Win the game by at least five goals!
• Home Team: Peach, Boo, Shy Guy, Koopa
• Away Team: Daisy, Birdo, Shy Guy, Dry Bones
• Skill Level: Professional
• Stadium: The Palace
• Time Limit: 3:00

This one is a little harder than it looks. You have no Power or Offensive character, but you do have Boo to Deke Score. You will need to do a few Megastrikes to make this challenge a lot easier. Keep the ball away from Birdo, there's no need for Daisy to get any goals against you.

Brick Wall Baby! (Daisy)

• Objective: Win the game and post a shutout!
• Home Team: Daisy, Koopa, Toad, Hammer Bro
• Away Team: Waluigi, Birdo, Hammer Bro, Monty Mole
• Skill Level: Superstar
• Stadium: The Lava Pit
• Time Limit: 3:00

The easiest way to win this challenge is to score and then goalie camp the rest of the time, but if you don't feel like doing that then this challenge is harder. Waluigi's team is full of high powered shooters and every time they shoot it will make you flinch. As soon as Waluigi's team scores the challenge ends and you will have to redo it. Use items strategically and use Daisy's speed to keep the ball away from the Power characters.

A Stunning Situation! (Wario)

• Objective: Win the game, but your goalie can be stuned easily!
• Home Team: Wario, Toad, Birdo, Dry Bones
• Away Team: Diddy Kong, Monty Mole, Hammer Bro, Koopa
• Skill Level: Superstar
• Stadium: The Underground
• Time Limit: 1:25

This challenge is hard because almost any shot against you will score. You need to score immediately and keep scoring if you want this challenge to go smoothly. Goalie camping won't work too well here because your goalie is going to be knocked out half of the time. Use Wario and Birdo for your primary shooters and use Dry Bones to defend the goal.

Three Goals Away! (Waluigi)

• Objective: Win the game by at least three goals!
• Home Team: Waluigi, Boo, Boo, Monty Mole
• Away Team: Luigi, Dry Bones, Dry Bones, Monty Mole
• Skill Level: Superstar
• Stadium: Thunder Island
• Time Limit: 0:50
• Score: 4-4

This challenge wouldn't be so hard if it wasn't for the 50 second time limit. You get two Boos to do the Deke Scoring technique and you also get Waluigi's speed to keep the ball under your control. Execute a Megastrike if at all possible. This challenge can often come down to whether or not you can execute a Megastrike and get three goals with it, and the two Dry Bones on Luigi's team doesn't make that any easier. Use items, dekes, whatever you can to make room for a Megastrike.

So Far Behind... (Yoshi)

• Objective: You trail 0-5. Come back to win!
• Home Team: Yoshi, Hammer Bro, Hammer Bro, Koopa
• Away Team: Wario, Dry Bones, Dry Bones, Dry Bones
• Skill Level: Legend
• Stadium: The Sand Tomb
• Time Limit: 1:08
• Score: 0-5

Yoshi's challenge is second to Diddy's for the most difficult challenge in the game. Not only do you have to recover from a 5-0 deficit, but you also have to play against three Dry Bones and in the Sand Tomb. There's also the fact you have a little over a minute to win. That's a tall order for one Yoshi. The first thing you should do is get items and get them fast. Being behind means you will get all of the good items like Stars and Chain Chomps. Megastrikes will help, but the AI at this point is good at blocking them, you'll be lucky if you get more than two goals from a Megastrike. Use Hammer Bro's Skillshot as well, it will almost guarantee a goal. At the very least you should try to force the game into Sudden Death to make the time limit go away. If Wario scores at all, even just once, you will likely fail the challenge.

Zero Tolerance! (Bowser)

• Objective: Win the game and post a shutout!
• Home Team: Bowser, Boo, Dry Bones, Koopa
• Away Team: Peach, Monty Mole, Birdo, Toad
• Skill Level: Legend
• Stadium: Konga Coliseum
• Time Limit: 3:00

This is similar to Daisy's challenge. Goalie camping will almost guarantee the win. Otherwise, just keep the ball away from Monty Mole and Birdo and also there players are lighting fast so be careful.

Tag Team Tussle! (Petey)

Petey's challenge is easier than it sounds. All it takes to win is to deke away DK or Toad and then take a shot. Rinse and repeat. Make sure you take out DK before he gets a chance to shoot. This challenge is a nice refresher compared to the last two. Also, this may be your first time playing with Petey, so have fun!

Against All Odds! (Bowser Jr.)

• Objective: Win the game without any Power-Ups!

• Away Team: Bowser, Toad, Toad, Toad

• Stadium: Battle Dome

Junior's challenge is evil for one reason. While you can't get items, Bowser still can. So not only can he tackle you at will, you don't even get items for it! The main threat is Bowser here, he has all the power in the team so keep the ball away from him. Use Hammer Bro and Bowser Jr to score goals and Dry Bones to take out Bowser. If you're having trouble with this challenge, just score and goalie camp until time runs out.

Lucky Seven! (Diddy Kong)

• Objective: Win the game and score at least seven goals!
• Home Team: Diddy Kong, Dry Bones, Dry Bones, Shy Guy
• Away Team: Yoshi, Birdo, Monty Mole, Koopa
• Skill Level: Megastriker
• Stadium: Crystal Canyon
• Time Limit: 3:00

Diddy's challenge is quite difficult, but not the hardest challenge in the game. You have to score seven goals, you get poor shooters, and worst of all you have to play in Crystal Canyon. So it's 3v3 or 2v2 for the entire challenge. Here's the key detail about the challenge: You just have to win having scored seven or more goals, you don't have to win by seven or more goals. A strategy you could use is to purposely let Yoshi score so you can get better items to let you execute Megastrikes. Shy Guy's skillshot can open the door for a few goals, but it's not very reliable. You need to know how to teleport into the goal with Dry Bones for this challenge. Charge the ball then use his deke to teleport into the goal. This can get you two or three easily if you've mastered it. Megastrikes and Dry Bones's deke is the way to go. Just don't let Yoshi take the lead if you manage seven goals.

Yoshi's team is completely defensive and has two powerful shooters. The only ways to counter this is by using Dry Bones speed, defensive power and deke to avoid the attacks or charge the ball to score an item. If you have Diddy's special ability, use it in front of him to be protected from Birdo and Monty Moles attacks. If used in front of him, sometimes all the players from the opposing team will be out of the game, leaving Diddy alone for a megastrike. There are may ways to score goals but there is one trick that is very useful. As Diddy, run up to the Kritter and use his deke and IMMEDIATELEY pass it to another teammate, allowing a free shot at the goal (because Diddy was a distraction).
