Psylocke is a very adept person with a variety of different damage types and is one of the fastest characters in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. She can best be compared to Daredevil because of her high critical rate and damage as well as being one of the few characters that can evade. Her movelist consists mostly of melee combat but she does have a single projectile attack. Her ferocious martial arts are enhanced by psychic energy which makes her very effective against organics as well as energy resistant enemies and bosses (such as Bishop). Unfortunately like Daredevil, her only defensive option is evasion (up to 30%) so she runs the risk of a knockout the longer she stays within the fray. Some effects of her psychic powers are also resisted by synthetics enemies.

Psylocke also has a very high score in Teamwork so her Fusion attacks are very damaging. She becomes a real killer when combined with other X-Men members or the Femme Fatales.

Glitches[edit]

  • When Autospend is used after Psylocke's Deathblow has been fully upgraded to Level 15, the games adds a hidden additional level to Deathblow (for 5 Ability Points). After this has happened, moving the cursor to the Deathblow slot while in the Start Menu causes the game to scroll down indefinitely and the cursor can no longer be moved upwards. Points cannot be removed and it becomes impossible to check the status of the ability (so the effect of a Level 16 Deathblow is unknown). The slight freezing can be remedied by simply cancelling out of the menu or by pressing the shoulder buttons to switch to another party member. This glitch can be fixed by accessing the Select Menu on a map and downgrading Deathblow back to Level 15.

Other Notes[edit]

  • As with the other DLC characters, Psylocke is no longer available to the US players of the PS3 version. She can still be acquired through the EU version.
