Putting four specific heroes together will gain you a team bonus. The following teams have been identified in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (where more than four heroes are listed, any four from the group will give the team bonus).

Best Friends?[edit]

  • Team Bonus: +15% Max Stamina
  • Members: Cable (DLC), Deadpool, Spider-Man, Venom

Repentant Killers[edit]

  • Team bonus: +5% to Criticals
  • Members: Jean Grey, Wolverine, Penance, Psylocke (DLC)

Unrepentant Killers[edit]

  • Team bonus: +5% Damage Inflicted as Health Gain
  • Members: Green Goblin, Venom, Carnage(DLC), Magneto(DLC)

Agile Warriors[edit]

  • Team bonus: +2 to all Attributes
  • Members: Daredevil, Deadpool, Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Carnage(DLC), Black Panther(DLC)

An OK team, especially against shielded enemies since three of the heroes can trip up shields (Daredevil, Spider-Man & Iron Fist). Otherwise, the team is too heavily reliant on physical damage and the team bonus is kind of weak.

Bruisers[edit]

  • Team bonus: +5 Striking
  • Members: Hulk, Luke Cage, Ms. Marvel, Thing, Thor, Venom, Juggernaut (Pre-Order/DLC)

If you're strictly into melee, this grouping is fine; but, there's little real benefit in the +5 Strike bonus and you get nothing but Clearing Fusions.

Classic Avengers[edit]

  • Team bonus: +15% Max Stamina
  • Members: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Black Panther(DLC)

You have three powerhouses in Thor, Ms. Marvel and Hulk. Captain America and Black Panther are good for balancing the team and bringing melee combat into play, while Iron Man is essential for bringing a wider variety of fusions.

Fantastic Four[edit]

  • Team bonus: +35% Fusion Gain
  • Members: Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, Thing

Surprisingly one of the best teams in the game. Invisible Woman is nearly on par with Jean Grey and Thing is a pretty good tank. Mr. Fantastic is a lot stronger than in the previous game, and Human Torch gives good firepower (pun intended). With the extra Fusions you'll earn, you can burn through boss battles very quickly.

Femme Fatales[edit]

  • Team bonus: +5% Damage
  • Members: Ms. Marvel, Storm, Jean Grey, Songbird, Invisible Woman, Psylocke (DLC)

Jean Grey and Invisible Woman are extremely strong and Songbird and Storm are only slightly behind. A lack of Targeted Fusions holds this team back; but, at higher levels, Songbird's Shatter Scream is a boss-killer. The only targetted fusion in Femme Fatales can be with Jean Grey and Psylocke.

Martial Artists[edit]

  • Team bonus: +5 Striking
  • Members: Captain America, Daredevil, Deadpool, Iron Fist, Wolverine, Psylocke (DLC)

Master Minds[edit]

  • Team bonus: +15% Max HP
  • Members: Nick Fury, Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, Spider-Man, Magneto (DLC)

Masters of Energy[edit]

  • Team bonus: +15% Max Health
  • Members: Gambit, Iron Fist, Jean Grey, Ms. Marvel, Nick Fury, Penance, Cable (DLC)

Natural Forces[edit]

  • Team bonus: 5% Damage Inflicted as Health Gain
  • Members: Jean Grey, Thor, Storm, Human Torch, Iceman

This team is seriously broken – in a good way. You have the two most powerful heroes in the game (Thor and Jean) along with two very strong heroes (from among Storm, Iceman and Torch). There's a distinct lack of Targeted Fusions; but, who cares? Equip Boosts to increase your Stamina and, with the health regeneration, Thor can just stand around and pump bosses full of Lightning Bolts until they keel over.

Natural Leaders[edit]

  • Team bonus: +5% Experience
  • Members: Captain America, Mr. Fantastic, Ms. Marvel, Songbird, Storm, Black Panther (DLC), Magneto (DLC), Cable (DLC)

Apart from Captain America, the other heroes can do some serious damage.Ms Marvel is highly resistant with very effective slam powers, Mr Fantastic can be pretty badass, Songbird is a boss killer with her Shatter Scream and finally storm is the "elemental" goddess of the game.

New Avengers[edit]

  • Team bonus: +10% to All Resistances
  • Members: Iron Man, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Ms. Marvel

Pro-Reg Heroes[edit]

  • Team bonus: +15% Max HP
  • Members: Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, Deadpool, Songbird

Secret Avengers[edit]

  • Team bonus: +3 Teamwork
  • Members: Cable (DLC), Captain America, Human Torch, Invisible Woman, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Nick Fury, Spider-Man, and Storm.

Shut Up Already![edit]

  • Team bonus: +15% Extra Health
  • Members: Deadpool, Human Torch, Iceman, Spider-Man, Thing

This team is a nicely balanced. With Thing in your team it's great against bosses. There are little to no guided fusions, but there are a fair amount of clearing fusions to make up for it.

Tip: Human Torch and Iceman make a guided fusion

Think Tank[edit]

  • Team bonus: +15% Max HP
  • Members: Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, Spider-Man, Green Goblin, Hulk

This team is low key one of the better teams in the game. Hulk provides the Targeted Fusions, Spidey is probably one of the best fighters in the game, Mr. Fantastic is still a cheat code, and put Goblin on the glider and spam his machine guns and rockets while low enough to the ground for dominance.

Thunderbolts[edit]

  • Team bonus: +5% Damage
  • Members: Green Goblin, Songbird, Penance, Venom

The team is actually fairly decent. Especially when play with another player or two. Penance does better when hurt, so its usually a good idea to purposely lead him into a mine or two to get him to peak performance. put goblin on his glider and he is golden. venom can heal him self and does good damage, and songbirds shatter scream is probably the most abused ability in the game.

Weapon Specialists[edit]

  • Team bonus: +5% Criticals
  • Members: Captain America, Cable(DLC), Deadpool, Green Goblin, Gambit, Daredevil, Thor, Nick Fury

X-Men[edit]

  • Team bonus: +15% Max Stamina
  • Members: Storm, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Iceman, Gambit, Psylocke(DLC), Cable(DLC), Magneto(DLC), Juggernaut(Pre-order/DLC)

One of the stronger teams with Jean Grey and a tank (Juggernaut or Wolverine) you can do some serious damage, especially against bosses.

Authority Issues[edit]

  • Team bonus: +35% Fusion Gain
  • Members: Wolverine, Gambit, Venom, Carnage(DLC), Juggernaut(Pre-order/DLC)

Double Date[edit]

  • Team bonus: +35% Fusion Gain
  • Members: Mr Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Black Panther(DLC), Storm

This team has its pros and cons. One advantage, is the presence of Invisible Woman, who's considered one of the most powerful heroes, giving great clearing damage. Storm is enough strong, but not on par with Sue. Mr Fantastic has great melee power, whereas Black Panther is very quick and destructive. The con, in this team is the lack of Targeted Fusion.

Former Horsemen[edit]

  • Team bonus: +10% to All Resistances
  • Members: Wolverine, Gambit, Iceman, Hulk

Defenders[edit]

  • Team bonus: +2 to Striking, Body, Focus and Teamwork
  • Members: Luke Cage, Wolverine, Ms. Marvel, Iceman, Hulk

Heroes For Hire[edit]

  • Team bonus: +10% to All Resistances
  • Members: Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Deadpool, Hulk

Maximum Carnage[edit]

  • Team bonus: 5% Damage Inflicted as Health Gain
  • Members: Carnage (DLC), Venom, Spider-Man, Captain America, Iron Fist

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.[edit]

  • Team bonus: +15% Max Health
  • Members: Nick Fury, Captain America, Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, Ms. Marvel, Wolverine, Daredevil

Secret Warriors[edit]

  • Team bonus: +5 Damage
  • Members: Nick Fury, Captain America, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Luke Cage, Daredevil

Marvel Knights[edit]

  • Team bonus: +5% Chance for Critical Hits
  • Members: Daredevil, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Hulk, Black Panther(DLC)
