After the cutscene and one moment, either paragon or renegade button interruption, you'll be sent to Mars to meet up with Dr Tsoni aka Liara.

Calm before the dust[edit]

You start at the top area of Mars going down into the building site. You won't encounter a lot of soldiers but it's a good idea to get the hang around the controls. When you finish them near the trucking area, you'll encounter one more squad until you reach a big elevator. At this point, Ash/Kaiden still questions you're alliance with Cerberus. Depending on whether you love or hate your comrade, Liara comes out of the drainage area and pick two soldiers with her biotic power.

Soldier Derby[edit]

Once you finish your conversation with Liara, the soldiers came in from the top level. At that point, you'll learn about the special powers by holding the button and pressing the power you want to use. Alternatively, if you have a Wii U Special Edition, you can hold the power and move it on to the slots on the sides on your tablet. Once you finish your battle, get the transport up so you can jump up the boxes, jump over the ledge and jump over the rail. Continue pass the automatic door and go left to have a glimpse of Dr Eve and opening up the outdoor area which is very dusty.

Slow revelations[edit]

Go at the end of the platform, up the ladder, jump over the ledge and on the left side with the open doors. Shepard will automatically turn his/her lights on and off. Anyway, find the stairs and go down. There are four soldiers on the opposite side of the glass. Ideally kill them quickly and go through where you shot the glass. Now go right and in the reception area, you can check out why people have died via air lock and even Eve shot the surveillance camera.

Turret syndrome[edit]

Continue on the path until you reach a sequence with the automatic turret. Kind of large in size. Anyway, if you have the tutorial on, the idea is to run to the next section, wait until the turret stop shooting and repeat the pattern. One point have you moving around the corner ledge until you reach the door. Kill the remaining troops and disable the turret.

Tram gun fight[edit]

The cutscene adds more prominence about Ash/Kaiden relationship. You can slowly rebuild the rift or let it slide like it matters. The next point at the end of the conversation is putting your squads in the area. The Wii U version allows you to use the squad on the map, by holding the squad and move where you want it to go. The tram gun fight is pretty straight forward followed by more soldiers coming on the next tram. Use the next tram to reach the end and knock down the remaining forces. Especially the forces behind the glass.

Illusive Man is back![edit]

Another cutscene shows the first appearance of the Illusive Man. Play on words. To add more paragon/renegade, pick "You're wasting time!" to unlock either blue or red. Depending on whether you left intact or blew the Collector Base as a reference to Mass Effect 2, he remains hostile to you. Next is the chase with Dr Eve after stealing the data. Not exactly "Bourne Identity" but thankfully the section should be easy to breeze through.

Ash/Kaiden KO[edit]

The last cutscene involves James Vega crashing the SV into the Cerberus transport and Dr Eve's robotic body has been revealed. After knocking down Ash/Kaiden, you only have seconds in slow motion to shoot Dr Eve before she kills you! Anyway, if you succeed, you'll be taking your squads to the Citadel where the building of Alliances really kicks off. Lastly, there would be a surprise and a key squad mate when EDI starts examining Dr Eve's robotic for startling results.
