Barbarians are relatively primitive human beings. They lack higher culture, instead focusing on ferocious aggression.
Tactical Overview[edit | edit source]
Barbarians are somewhat limited with regard to gold production. Compensate for this with aggression and expansion, increasing the number of cities you control.
Your Beserkers are strong and tough, so tech to them fast. You will need them. Note that thrown attacks only work when you attack, so use magic or positioning to make sure you strike the first blow.
Special Rules[edit | edit source]
Spearmen, Swordsmen and Cavalry cost 50% extra, but have a strength 1 thrown attack. All units have +1 resistance.
Barbarian cities get +20 to growth.
