Wind Man is this game's other robot that was designed in the North American Mega Man Robot Design Contest featured in Nintendo Power in the early-mid 1990s. This Robot Master was designed by Michael Leader, an American.

Wind Man is this game's "air" robot. Naturally, his stage takes place high in the sky. You have to be careful, because there are a lot of spikes around.

The new obstacle in this level are fans. They'll either push you straight up or straight down, depending on where they're suspended. They can help you reach hard-to-reach areas and even avoid painful situations, but if you're not careful, they'll send you to a spiky death.

This is a very straightforward level, just exercise caution, and look before you leap. Use the Rush Jet for tough areas.

Wind Man himself is a total wimp. He's weak to the Centaur Flash (no need to aim, just push the button as fast as you can), but even with just your regular weapon he's not hard at all to beat. All he does is jumps across the arena, fires fan-shaped shots, and tries to suck you in with a fan technique. Once you get his pattern and attacks down, this guy is simple to kill.
