ACDC[edit]

Head towards the ACDC Metroline station. Talk to man in the back to find out that no trains are running because of a landslide. Exit the station, you'll get an email from Dex challenging you to a battle with GutsMan. Jack in Lan's computer and bookmark Dex's link past the merchant if you haven't do so already. You're supposed to go to internet area 2, but you'll need Dex's permission. Jack out and go to Dex's house. He'll first want a Recov50 L chip that can be found in Mayl's piano before the battle. Get the chip if you haven't already and give it to Dex. You'll have to take on GutsMan for the link. This version has 400 HP and is a bit faster than the previous version. However, his fighting style is the same. After you beat him, Dex will give you the link /Dex and a GutsMan G chip. Go back to the path to Internet 2. You can jack into Dex's computer as a shortcut if you already went through his access point.

StoneMan[edit]

Stoneman

Stoneman
600 HP
Element: none
Reward: 2000z

Attacks

  • Creates a rock cube in MegaMan's area with 100 HP.
  • Pounds the ground which drops 3 boulders for 30 damage.
  • Small totem pops up and shoots a beam across one row for 70 damage.

Strategy

StoneMan is stationary in the back column middle row. Unlike other bosses, he can't be stunned with powerful attacks, which is a good thing since that means you can spam attacks without having to wait. When the battle starts, he'll create a durable rock cube. To prevent him from placing one where it can protect him from your attacks, step to the front middle panel as soon as the battle starts, since he can't place a block where you're standing. He'll also keep destroying the old one and summoning new ones every third time he attacks.

His most common attack is dropping boulders, you can tell where they're going to fall by the shadow on the panel, so stay calm, and dodge as necessary. When his health gets low, he will use the beam attack. The small totem pops up slowly, so there is plenty of time to move to a different row.

Once StoneMan is defeated, MegaMan will destroy the boulder blocking the metroline. Jack out and head to the metroline station. Buy a ticket to the government complex. To use the ticket, just walk through the gate.

Government Complex[edit]

Enter the main building and keep going right through the exit point. You will not be able to use the elevators until you reach the end and talk to the receptionist that grants you access to your father's lab. Once there, you will find that he has not been there since the morning. Jack into his computer to leave a message. You can also pick up @Dad up ahead which will make a shortcut to Internet area 3. You'll also see a virus machine, which creates viruses according to your Navi's level. Jack out once your done and head back home. As soon as you leave the metro, you'll get an e-mail from Dad, saying that he managed to compress the PowerUp; he'll give you an HP memory and a PowerUp. When you're ready, go to bed.

WoodMan[edit]

WoodMan
WoodMan
WoodMan
500 HP
Element: wood
Reward: 2000z and /Sal

Attacks

  • Jumps to another panel, stomps the ground and three to five random spikes pop up.
  • Drops a seed that sends a wood tower towards MegaMan.
  • Puts his hands on the floor causes three spikes to pop up three times in a rapid succession.
  • Drops a seed that turns into a tree, then an apple which will heal him if not destroyed.

Strategy

Before you start the battle, put some fire chips in your folder since that will double the damage, FireMan will be useful since it's strong and almost impossible to miss with. Just like StoneMan he cannot flinch, so you don't have to wait for him to recover every time you hit him with a battle chip. The first few attacks he will do is jump to another panel causing three to five spikes to pop up. You can tell where they'll pop up because the panel will flash yellow. It's easy to be jumpy here and run into a spike when you're actually safe, so try and stay calm and make use of the small delay. Note how he waits for a second after this attack, a good opportunity to hit him with a slower chip.

He will also drop tree seeds which will send a Wood Tower towards you, again, he doesn't much after the attack for a while. By far his most annoying attack is when is puts his hands on the floor which will cause three or four waves of spike pop ups. He won't move at all during this attack, so if you're fast enough you can try to hit him with some attacks. When his HP is low, he'll drop two seeds, one will send a Wood Tower, the other will turn into a tree. Quickly destroy the tree with your buster, because it'll turn into a apple, which will heal him for 200 HP if he jumps on it.

After the battle Sal will give you /Sal, which open up Internet area 3 from Internet area 2.
