Lan Hikari (Netto Hikari)[edit]
Lan is one of the main characters in the game. He is Mega Man's operator.You will operate Lan in the real world and Mega Man in the cyber world. if you press the 
button in the cyber world he will give you information about what you're supposed to be doing. He is not very bright when it comes to school but he is one of the greatest net battlers in the world though no one treats him that way.
MegaMan.EXE[edit]
Megaman.EXE was actually Hub (Lan's brother), and died out of a rare illness very similar to asthma. He has the ultimate program in him, which forte(Bass)wants to get. He is also the first ever navi to be genetically modified.
Mayl[edit]
Lan's neighbour and friend, owner of Roll.EXE. Marries Lan at the end of the saga and has a son named Patch.

Lan's Best Friend, owner of Gutsman. Becomes mayor of ACDC Town at the end of the saga.

Dr.Wily[edit]
Leader of WWW, a terrorist organization bent on taking over the internet and the world. Presumably died in MMBN3,however he survived and brainwashed his son, Dr. Regal, who also had dreams of planetary conquest. He returns in MMBN6, and becomes good at the end of the saga.
Bass[edit]
Bass was the first "free navi", or "Autonavi" created, having no operator. linked to the net disaster relating to the "ultimate program". He was created by Dr. Cossack. Mega Man's sworn enemy.
