Humans[edit]

You will encounter humans from time to time during your travels. You can frequently speak to these people if you wish to obtain information. Some won't be so forthcoming and may attack you. If you attack some of these people, your reputation may decrease. Judge the appropriateness of an aggressive response over a peaceful one.

Land monsters[edit]

Plains[edit]

Monsters found in the plains are generally the safest to attack when you are just starting out and trying to build up your strength. Venture too far into other territories, and you may find yourself overwhelmed. Stick to the plains early on.

Forest[edit]

While not the most fearsome monsters that you'll encounter, the monster which roam the forest certainly make the monsters on the plains look easy. You should not roam the forests until you are sufficiently strong enough and well equipped to take on these beasts.

Mountains[edit]

The monsters which you encounter in the mountains are a step up in strength over the monsters found in the forests. These monsters survive in a rugged environment, so you must be equally rugged to take them on. Attempting to fight any of these monsters solo is not recommended.

Desert[edit]

The monsters that you encounter in the desert are among the strongest that you will ever encounter on land. Knowledge of the quickest direction to a healing shop in town is highly recommended in case a battle goes wrong against the likes that you'll find in the desert.

Caverns[edit]

Caverns are located in various places throughout the world. The monsters which inhabit them vary greatly in strength, from very weak to incredibly strong. When you enter a cavern for the first time, be sure to get a feel for the strength of the monsters you encounter before exploring very far.

Water monsters[edit]

Calm sea[edit]

After getting the first boat, you will be able to explore the calmer waters of the ocean and streams that surround the land. They are not free of danger. Even aboard a ship, you will have to defend yourself against monsters of different strengths.

Stormy sea[edit]

When you finally have a vessel that can withstand the raging stormy seas, you will encounter an entirely different variety of monster, some of the strongest in the world. Take great care when preparing for a sea voyage that will take you into such treacherous waters.

Bosses[edit]

Throughout the course of your adventure, you will have to face certain monsters, sometimes more than once, in order to accomplish a goal, or collect valuable items. Many of them will lower your reputation for having defeated them despite the noble effort required for doing so.
