Sea of Lava[edit]

Walk and jump right until you reach a second clanball. Shake it, and reutrn left to take the first warp gate. This will bring you to the right of the barrier.

Here, the lava will be launching flaming streams to hinder your progress. The first lava stream will fly above the clancer. After this one, you can jump as high as you can, and continuously dash to the right while flying to get past the option section.

Ms Hint says to use slide wisely, a clue for getting to the exit. To do this, use Down dpad and A button.

The gold gem is near the end of the map, before the upward turn. As Ms. Hint suggested, use the slide to grab it, as well as the other gems near the lava. You may also need to use slide to get bast the floor shooters when you approach the exit.

Vertigo !![edit]

Dig near start block, and drop the bomb nearby. Go up the elevator and jump to the green clamball. Shake it to restore the red blocks, and jump on them.

Keep climbing up, repeating the process a few times. First, you will encounter two vertical red barriers (which may need dashing to destroy), and followed by one that would serve as a staircase.

The Gold gem is at the top. As you blast the last section, try jumping from the star area to the platform immediately above. As the red blocks blow up, jump over them onto the red blocks to the right. When you reach the end, jump as high as you can and use Up c to hover. When the elevator to your right arrives below you, use Right c to land on it.

Sink or Float![edit]

While on a moving platform, jump to cause it to raise; standing still without jumping (even back on the platform) will cause it to sink into the lava.

You can catch enemy projectiles and throw them back.

To get the gold gem, Jump into the gems to the right of the platform, then do an upward boost followed by a right boost.

Hot Rush[edit]

Falling into the lava resets the level, but not the time spent on it. You also take a bit of damage. You also need to race against the bricks collapsing behind you.

You have three jumps above a few obstacles, and will need to rush right to the first teleport gate. If you want to get the gold gem, you can wait above the clanball as the floor collapses.

Regardless of whether you teleport or not, you need to wait before starting the second part of the map. At this point, you have to jump over open lava pits, but there are clanballs you can use before the end. Once you get to this second teleport gate, you will be brought underneath the exit.

There is a clamball on the path to the first teleporter; if you can shake it and still reach the teleporter (or find an alternate route), you will create a gold gem near the exit. The easiest method is to stand directly above it, and catch it using B button. Shake it, then launch yourself with B button + Right dpad, and perform a few boosts using Right c.

Searin' Swing[edit]

The first swings can be skipped, but you will need to grab the later ones.

Use Down c or Up c to climb up or down a swing, whether for better position. Use B button to jump off.

Gold gem is past the star. To reach it, continue along the swings to the right. However, the swings aren't aligned properly, which may force you to detach and use boost if you want to continue towards the gem.

Flambéé[edit]

This is a boss fight against a flying bee.

When audio cue appears or crosshairs is visible, the enemy will make an attack. Grab it then do a downward throw. For extra damage, try a diagonal throw into the lava.

It has the following attacks, the later ones appearing as it takes damage:

  • Floats above, then dives with its stinger.
  • From ground level, does a forward charge.
  • Grabs then throws
  • Creates a set of 8 flies, which then try attacking in a single line.

The gold gem is obtained by grabbing the bee's head, and continuously shaking it until it appears. Doing so causes small bees to fly out, which may either be avoided or ignored (since they cause minimal damage). If desired, you can also grab and shake the bee's stinger to collect blue and red gems.

Tightrope ride[edit]

When you get to the set of four clamballs, you can boost away from the center to extend the range up to two times. Use this to dodge the mines at the various locations.

Past the teleportaion star, you will reach a set of clamballs moving downward among the three ropes. Grab and jump from clamball to clamball; you only need to change directions on the edge or on a blue clamball.

You only need to go as high as the first star to complete the level. To get the gem, try to go as high as possible until you reach the second platform on the top left.

Freefall!![edit]

The gold Gem on right hand side. Try to go to the right hand chamber during the freefall. When you do, fly to the left and touch the gem.

To exit, go down the middle path during freefall, and grab the star. You'll teleport to the left isolated chamber. Grab the center star, and repeat for the right hand chamber. When you fall to the bottom of the center isolated room, grab the star to teleport to the bottom of the map. Collect any gems as desired, and take the exit gate.

Magma Rafts!![edit]

Ms. Hint reports a boss at the end of this level set. She describes the tactics about Migen, and his son, Migen Jr. You can catch their punches, and throw them in any direction, but you need to defeat Migen Sr. first, because will heal Jr.

At the final half of this level (once you see Ms. Hint), keep jumping on the block to keep it high, and make sure enemies don't remain on the block long enough to sink it. If necessary, jump and keep using boost to remain off the lava.

Seasick Climb[edit]

The gold gem requires you to climb to the top. At points where the mines pour with no obvious shutoff, you need to do a quick self-throw to a higher clamball or platform. Once you reach the top, you can get the gem, but will need to do a few screens-worth of climbs.

Migen Brawl!![edit]

At the start of the fight, you can grab the punches from Migen Jr. by using Up dpad+B button. Once you grab hold, you can throw it to the left or right to hit Migen Sr., down to release 5 health gems, or up to damage Migen Jr.

As Migen Sr. takes damage, Migen Jr will begin breathing fire attacks, and Migen Sr. will begin to launch a seeking lightning attack. You can grab these projectiles to turn them into either red or blue gems.

Once you take out Migen, your main opponent will become more aggressive, but will no longer be healed. In addition to more frequent and powerful fire breaths, he will make a large volley of ungrabbable punches; you can parry them with B button. If you block enough attacks, he will become slightly dazed, which signals you can grab the fist, and throw it back at him.

As Migen Jr. takes damage, he will mix feigned punches with normal punches.
