Domination requires your team to capture as many spawn points as possible within the time limit.

There are two scoring modes:

  • Score based on total number of spawn points controlled.
  • Spawn points per second: Gain 1 point per spawn point controlled each second.

In maps with more than two players, it is possible for eliminated players to still inflict damage; they may receive random powerups from time to time which they can throw against unsuspecting players.

Map specific strategies[edit]

The Eternal Guardians[edit]

This is a small map with 8 spawn points.

There are two choke points within the map, and to win, you need to capture both of them. As expected, they are the middle two spawn points.

Your first task is to send small Darwinian groups to the two other spawn points on your side. Once you capture the first spawn point and the Darwinians appear, collect them and have them charge the first central spawn point.

Meanwhile, the team you sent to the back control point should have claimed it by now. Have these troops claim the back spawn point, and fortify it with a formation.

Hamburger Hill[edit]

An asymmetric map. Originally a place of beauty but devistated by the war. Because of the layout of the map, one team has a slight disadvantage due to the latency in receiving units.

Barriers to Progress[edit]

In this map, both players control a spawn point, and a remote power generation station that keeps a shield around initial spawn point.

As with all maps, you need to quickly capture the four spawn points on your side of the map. Send the units at the power station first, then proceed to capture the other points as necessary.

Shrine of Memory[edit]

This is a shrine built to commemarate the lives lost during the first war, and there is a battle at this location.

There are three islands connected by radar dishes, each having three spawn points. One player has a slower spawn latency, but has a better choke point in the direct path between the two player's island.

The trick to victory is to quickly claim the far island with as many troops as possible, while leaving a single formation to guard your back entrance.

The Bitter Front[edit]

A cold lanscape with 8 spawn points.

Between the two bases is empty terrain, and as such, you can expedt battles to form at the two corners of the map. Quickly rush the two spawn points in the isolated corner, as that region will be hard to capture once it is claimed. The rest of the map should flow naturally, with the greatest contest at the corner with four spawn points.

Field of Unending Dawn[edit]

A rotationally symmetric map of three players.

On this map, you are fighting a war on two fronts. While you do need to claim the side spawn points as quickly as possible, you need to be sure you are sending the right amount of forces.

Leap of Faith[edit]

In this map of three players, six outer islands surround a large island. Each spawn island has access to it's two neighboring islands through jump points, and the central island. The small outer islands have a single spawn point, and also have access to one.

Capture the side islands as soon as possible, as they may be hard to claim later. However, you should send the bulk of your forces to the large island, where there is the greatest quantity of spawn points.

The Holy Tree[edit]

This map of four players requires 15 minutes to complete. There are ten spawn points on the map; one in each start, one in each corner, and two in the center.

The easiest locations of defense would be the main spawn; there are only two ways in or out and are buffered by the corner spawn. As such, you will want to keep this buffer as long as possible.

Co-op mode places allies on opposite ends of the map.

A Monument to the Heavens[edit]

This map of four players places two players on the same island, and the other two on the opposite. There are two side islands as well that are launch points to the opposing island.

There are a total of 12 spawn points in the map. For best results, try to secure one of the side, as those are slightly more difficult on a reconquest.

Co-op mode places enemies on the same island, and causes enemies to contest the side island.
