Suffixes are bonus modifiers that are represented as a text string that appear at the end of an item's name. These are randomly generated, and only one can exist on an item. When enchanted, items have no chance of gaining a suffix, however they can receive the same or better bonuses. Also note that some suffixes can adversely affect you (see Negative Suffixes below).
