The Extra Stage is basically the first stage (but you only have one life to do it in); you should also remember that you cannot continue at this point, and if you are playing the game alone, another person cannot join in to help you (which shall be reflected by the text "GAME OVER" under the inactive player's score). Once you have either been killed or cleared the stage, the text "GAME OVER" will appear on the screen as the game goes into high-score mode; your scores will most likely be the two highest values on the cabinet to date, so you should enter your initials at the top of the table with pride, regardless of which way around they are positioned. Once you have done so, the game will go back into attract mode, as it displays the high score table in full - and both of your scores will be displayed below it, but if you were playing alone, it will say the inactive player's score was Namco's goroawase number, 7650.
