Here are the controls for the Wii. The control set-ups is similar to Super Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Mortal Kombat Armageddon, and Need for Speed: Undercover.
You can hold it with the Wii remote pointing at the screen, hold Wii Remote sideways with the Wii Wheel, Wii Remote and Nunchuk, Classic controller, or Gamecube controller. Also if you're learning the ropes, turn "Steering Assist" on so you won't end up having steering trouble. Steering Assist automatically slows down your car when you approach a corner.
Wii Remote[edit]
Hold the Wii Remote pointed straight at the Sensor Bar.
