Welcome to the game. Once Scott and all his selected opponents have appeared, at the starting line, you will have to start accelerating, then spin to the right around an open manhole, pick up an old beans can, spin to the left around an oil slick, pick up an old drinks can, and pass between the first pair of traffic cones (if you do not, you will not be able to win the race) while watching out for the escaped kangaroo (if it had been selected); you will then have to spin to the right between another open manhole and a brick, pick up a paper while watching out for Brad Willis with his surfboard (and Todd Landers' radio-controlled car if it had been selected), spin to the left around a third open manhole while watching out for Bouncer (the dog) and Mrs. Mangel with her rolling pin, spin to the left again around a rock and pass between the second pair of traffic cones (while again watching out for Todd Landers' radio-controlled car if it had been selected). You will then have to pass between the third pair of traffic cones (while watching out for Des Clarke's car if it had been selected) - and you will then have to spin to the right between a fourth open manhole and another rock (while again watching out for Mrs. Mangel with her rolling pin), spin to the left and pass between the fourth pair of traffic cones. You must then spin to the right to pick up a second piece of paper and two more old drink cans (while again watching out for Des Clarke's car, if it had been selected), spin to the right around the still-escaped kangaroo (again, if it had been selected), spin to the right, and pass between the fifth pair of traffic cones; you will now have to spin to the left around a fifth open manhole (while, again, watching out for Brad Willis with his surfboard), pick up a fourth old drinks can, and pass between the sixth pair of traffic cones. You'll then have to spin to the left around a sixth open manhole, spin to the right around an emu, while watching out for Rubble Paul Robinson with his briefcase, spin to the right and pass between the seventh pair of traffic cones - and you'll then have to spin to the left and pick up a fifth old drinks can, spin to the left and pick up a third piece of paper, spin to the right around another emu (while again watching out for Bouncer, the dog, and once again watching out for Todd Landers' radio-controlled car, if it had been selected), pick up a sixth old drink can, spin to the right while watching out for Helen Daniels with her latest masterpiece, and pass between the eighth pair of traffic cones. You will then have to once again watch out for the still-escaping kangaroo (if it had been selected) and again watch out for Rubble Paul Robinson with his briefcase, spin to the left and pass between the ninth pair of traffic cones; you now have to spin to the right while watching out for Harold Bishop jogging (and once again, Des Clarke's car if it had been selected), spin to the right, and pass between the tenth pair of traffic cones. You'll then have to spin to the left (while once again watching out for Brad Willis with his surfboard), spin to the left around a third emu, and pass between the eleventh pair of traffic cones - and you shall now have to spin to the right and pass between the twelfth pair of traffic cones, while yet again watching for the still-escaping kangaroo it if had been selected. You now have to spin to the left twice, and pass between the thirteenth pair of traffic cones; you must then spin to the right while again watching out for Harold Bishop jogging, pick up a seventh old drinks can while yet again watching for Des Clarke's car (if it had been selected), and once again watching for Mrs. Mangel with her rolling pin, and pass through the fourteenth pair of traffic cones. You'll then have to spin to the left while again watching out for Helen Daniels with her latest masterpiece and a seventh open manhole, and complete a full lap of the track; the first of the three televisions on the left side of the screen (the second and third of which display the Grundy Television diamond) acts as a finishing-line camera and once you have completed a second lap of track (provided you came in first, second, or third), all three of them will display the images of Scott and two of his selected opponents based on their positions. You'll now receive a bonus (based on Scott's popularity meter) - and the second race involves going around the track in the other direction.
