The city of Altador is located under Shenku and to the right of Lutary Island, and it is surrounded by mountains.
Altador and its heroes have returned after a thousand-year slumber. While the city begins to flourish as it once had long ago, many Neopians wonder how it came to disappear in the first place.
In this city you can find 9 buildings: 6 that can be easily spotted, and three that can be clicked on but with no letters.
Apparently there is some kind of quest involving a switch in the Hall of Heroes.
If you click over the clouds in the upper right corner, you can see Altador from above.
The Old Follies Farm[edit]
This is one of Altador's oldest farms, owned by Farmer Follies and his family.
Here a farmer says: "Well howdy there. You're from the city, eh? I've got a ninth cousin there, works as a janitor, maybe you know him."
This building is located outside the city walls, to the northwest (up and right), and it's really near to the walls.
Hall of Heroes[edit]
The Hall of Heroes is a monument to the great legends of Altador. Twelve enormous statues stand in a circle, King Altador foremost among them.
You can click over each one of the statues to see them from front perpective. Here is a list of the heroes:
- King Altador, the Hunter.
- Jerdana, the Protector.
- Siyana, the First to Rise.
- Kelland, the Thief.
- Florin, the Farmer.
- Torakor, the Gladiator.
- The Darkest Faerie, the Sleeper.
- Marak, the Wave.
- Fauna, the Gatherer.
- Psellia, the Dreamer.
- Gordos, the Collector.
- Sasha, the Dancer.
You can click on the little guy near the window to the right, and he tells you something about a switch, which is to his right and looks like a sun. If you press it nothing happens...
The Altadorian Archives[edit]
The Altadorian Archives are the repository of all Altadorian knowledge, science, and history. Thousands of books and scrolls populate its shelves.
Here you can click on the open door to the right. This door leads you to the archivist room where if you had already visited the Hall of Heroes, he tells you that the janitor told him about the switch and that he could repair it if he had a book with information, which one is under the leg of the table to the right. If you click on it, the archivist tells you that you can´t take that book because it is holding up the table. He also says "If I only had something to replace it with."
After this the only thing you can do is go outside. Here there is something new opened, and now you can click on the board in the middle were you can access 5 different clubs:
- Herbalism Club
- Mining Club
- Underwater Basket Weaving Club
- Engineering Club
- Alchemy Club
But you apparently cannot enter any of them. Every one will say, "We don't have room for the likes of you!"
The Restive Tomb[edit]
This tomb stands silent and grave, watching over Altador from high atop a cliff. It is located at the left lower corner of Altador; it's the yellow-roofed building.
The Colosseum[edit]
The mighty Colosseum of Altador is an ancient arena that is home to many contests, tournaments, and feats of physical prowess. This building is located behind the Hall of the Heroes building.
The Altadorian Docks[edit]
These docks are the basis of Altador's mighty shipping industry. This building is located in the higher left corner of Altador, near a little boat under the sun's light.
