- Look for something that can turn rhe Madame Zodora machine on.
- Use the On Switch to activate the Zodora machine.
- Put in tokens to get a fortune.
- Solve the fortune's riddle "Silence the laughter".
- Put in tokens to get another fortune.
- Solve the fortune's riddle "Entertain Us".
- Put in tokens to get another fortune.
- Solve the fortune's riddle "You will seize the light... YOG SETHIS, IA! IA! MALDON UMBRUTHIA!"
- Put in tokens to get another fortune.
Walkthrough[edit]
Inspect the Madame Zodora machine in the Midway panel of the Pelican Bay boardwalk, next to the Vandalism game, to open this case.
The first order of business is to turn the machine on. You'll need an on switch, which you should have picked up from the box next to the furnace in the Shithole Warehouse. Use it to turn the machine on, then insert a red token to receive a fortune saying "Silence the laughter".
Kill all the clowns around the boardwalk to proceed; Tycho will point out when you've killed enough, at which point you should return to Madame Zodora. Insert a green token next, to receive the next fortune: "Entertain Us".
Tycho suggests outsourcing the job to one of the Barbershop Quartet on the boardwalk, but rather than discussing the proposal they'll attack you. There are three quartets in all - one by the Vandalism game, one beside It's Like Fudge and the last by Balls and Holes - and each one will drop a musical instrument. Take the instruments back to Madame Zodora and perform for her, which will unlock Album 4 and the next part of the case.
Give Madame Zodora a blue token for a third fortune, stating "You will seize the light", and another slip with the words "YOG SETHIS, IA! IA! MALDON UMBRUTHIA!" on it. Go to the Cataract beside Balls and Holes and speak those words to break down the barrier, then go back to Madame Zodora.
After reading another couple of fortunes from the machine, Gabe will lose his temper and take it out on Madame Zodora, much to Tycho's dismay.
