Operation Stealth/Dead ends

Operation Stealth is infamous for objects that can easily be missed, and then become necessary only much later in the game, after difficult arcade sequences. Even restoring the game to a previous position might require a lot of trouble to reach a later point again.

This is a list of irreversible mistakes and misses in the game.

• Not taking the pen out of the briefcase in the beginning. The briefcase will be lost sometime later, and the pen must be used much later in the game.
• Falsifying a passport with the 'wrong' country at the beginning; will result only in game over and restart the game.
• Not giving the 'bench' of notes twice, and make the coins. After the underwater sequence, the notes will be lost and only the coins remain. Without money, you can't buy the bracelet.
• Buying wrong flowers from the Florist. You need carnations to make the agent see you.
• Take the envelope from the agent's briefcase before taking the black box. Taking the envelope will trigger the arrival of the Soviets and you won't be able to take the box later.
• Not buying the bracelet. Without it you will be drowned in the sea later in the game.
• Not searching for the elastic band at the sea bed before entering the Spyder base. Without it you will die at the very ending.
• Not take the raft from the garbage in the Spyder base. Without it you will die at the very ending.
