This chart shows you what your animal needs to stay healthy.

You can tell what your animal needs by rolling the mouse over it, and a needs chart will appear in the top left of the screen. If their needs get low, a thought cloud will appear over their head with what they need. Or if their problem is a dirty enclosure then there will be a cloud in the centre of the enclosure with a bucket and mop in it. If their needs drop too far, they will be taken away by their angry owners and your reputation will drop.

Feeding[edit]

You need to feed the animals if they are to say healthy

To feed your animals, you need some animal feed. You can get this from the catalogue, and there are three types of food; normal feed, super feed and extra super feed. Click on the animal you want to feed and then select the feeding icon. Select which feed to use (you must have some in stock to use it) and the vet will go to one of the three crates outside the enclosure and take some food. She will then pour it into their feeding bowl, and they will come to eat. If more than one animal needs feeding, while your vet is feeding the first animal (or right after as long as you haven't told her to do anything else) click on another, although it must be the same speciese, and select the feeding icon and the same type of feed you used with the first animal. Then, instead of going back to the crates, she will just go to the other animal's bowl and pour in the feed.

Hygene[edit]

Clean the enclosures regulary and you won't have any horrible smells!

To raise the hygene bar, you don't have to bathe your animals, instead you need to clean the enclosure. Click on the bucket next to the enclosure's entrance, and select whether to do 'major' cleaning (raises hygene a lot) or 'minor' cleaning (raises hygene a little). Cleaning changes the hygene level of every animal in the enclosure.

Playing[edit]

At the start of the game you will only have one way of playing with your animals, usually not involing any toys and therefore not raising the play metre much. But you can buy more toys from the store which will raise their play metre higher. To play with an animal, select the animal you wish to play with, select the toy icon, and select which toy to use. Then watch as your vet plays with the animal.

Affection[edit]

All animals need a little affection now and then. To pet your animals, select the animal and then the pet icon (a hand) and your vet will stroke the animal. You may need to do this several times if the animal's affection metre is low.

Follow-up Treatment[edit]

If an animal is staying in the hospital for more than one day, on the days in between the day it arrived and the day it will be picked up, it will need follow up treatment. At the beginning of the day you will be sent messages on your phone to tell you which animals require follow-up treatment, and they will have a thought cloud over their head with the follow-up treatment icon in it. To give an animal follow-up treatment, click on it and select the treatment icon (and eye). Your vet will look at the animal and give it the treatment.

Health[edit]

Generally, an animals health bar will be completely full. But if your diagnosation was incorrect, their health metre will start to fall. They will have a thermometre over their head to tell you they are ill. If their health metre drops completely, the animal is taken away. To raise the health metre, you will need to diagnose them again correctly, and then raise their other needs bars and their health will increase.
