Wright Anything Agency[edit]

Athena will talk about about the Swashbuckler Spectacular stage show that she saw at Shipshape Aquarium. She even has it on disc. One of the performers in the show, Sasha Buckler will show up at the office, asking you to defend her friend. You will be taken to the aquarium. After witnessing a penguin dropped a Swashbuckler Flyer, you can now go to the Orca Pool. Talk all the topics to Sasha.

Orca Pool[edit]

You learn that your defendant is actually an orca! Bobby Fulbright is there, you eventually get him to talk to the police and prosecution. To see if you can officially press charges on, well, an orca so you can actually defend her in court.

The correct option for "What will you do?" is Defend Orla in Court obviously! There's no penalty so don't worry if you choose the wrong thing.

To start the investigation, start by examining Orla herself. You learn that anyone can give commands to Orla by using one of the whistles. Whistle is added to the court record. Examine the large octopus in the back. You see that one of it's legs is missing. Examine the pool ladder to the left. You learn the the pool ladder doesn't reach to the floor. Change perspectives to the right, examine the ball right next to Orla. It's usually in a bin, but someone took it out. Next examine the body line out also right next to Orla. Inspect the body outline one more time, learning that Orla loved the captain! She would ((probably)) never hurt him!

After a little showcase that results in a soggy Phoenix and a reference to Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice; move to the Aqua Tunnel

Aqua Tunnel[edit]

There's decisive evidence for Orla?! No! You have to find out; talk to Bobby Fulbright

·Proof Orla Did It: Bobby reveals that the evidence is footage of Orla attacking the victim! Bobby just so happens to be called, so you take a quick peek at the footage. It does show Orla attacking, well, something! Security Footage is added to the Court Record. You take a quick note to check out the 'Pub O' Danger'

Pub O' Danger[edit]

What a pretty pub! Though it seems to be home to some pretty questionable things. You meet with one Norma DePlume. Talk with her.

·Norma DePlume: She says that she's a simple guest here, she questions who you are but doesn't care after you've said you're lawyers. ·Why you're here: Norma says that she has special permission to be here despite the aquarium being closed to the public. Miss DePlume is hiding something! Her Psyche-Locks appear but disappear the moment you explain what they are to Athena...

For now, just go back to the Aqua Tunnel.

Aqua Tunnel (2)[edit]

Bobby is gone and the investigation seems to have ended, but you hear some real lyrics from the peanut gallery. You meet mister Marlon Rimes, he's an animal keeper! He's new here, though. Marlon asks what you're doing; you're going to defend Orla of course! He's seemingly on good terms with Sasha and he raps when he's alone to pass the time. Talk with mister Rimes.

·Marlon Rimes: He's a general crew member. He cleans the glass for the tunnel and feeds the animals. He's a vegetarian so he has no problem feeding the animals

·About the murder: Marlon says that a guest first found the event and started to scream but when he got there Orla and the captain where nowhere to be found. He remises about the captain; he was a real good guy! Marlon points out a vet but neither of you have seen one even though people who took the night shift should still be in the aquarium.

·Rifle: He's not talking about a weapon! He's talking about the cute penguin you saw! Her name is Rifle due to her attitude. You now have a little side quest, feed little Rifle! Fish is added to the Court Record. Marlon has also been looking for his (non-fish) friend Small Fry. She was also off to go find Rifle.

After talking with him, you're transported back to the Orca Pool.

Orca Pool (2)[edit]

There's something new here! It's a little electronic sword. Sasha says it's a walkie-talkie belonging to Rifle. It's basically used to locate her but it's also used to send/broadcast messages to parts of the aquarium. Walkie Talkie is added to the Court Record. Rifle might still be here, but before you can investigate you get a small nudge by Orla! Rifle is actually riding Orla... how cute! After an attempt at chasing you find Pearl Fey :D!

If you're playing the AJ:AA Trilogy version, move back to the Wright Anything Agency at any point before the end of this part and present the whistle and fish to Apollo for the second and third parts of the A Man of Many Hats achievement. Otherwise, talk with Pearl.

·Pearl Fey: Her school is on a summer trip. Since she'd never seen an aquarium so big she was super excited until, well, this happened. ·Meeting Athena: Phoenix got Athena out of a jam, so Athena started to think about becoming a lawyer like him! Phoenix taught her to become a lawyer and how to help people with the knowledge of psychology. Pearl tells you that she bought a calendar at the gift shop but it smells like fish... Calendar is added to the court record.

·Rifle: Rifle really wants to avoid Athena, but Phoenix proposes giving food to the penguin. Present fish. Orla eats it instead! You find out the probable reason why Rifle loves Pearl so much (fish scented calendar!).

Sasha says that Orla doesn't eat at this time of day and that they've actually been feeding her more than usual. Talk with Sasha Buckler.

·Orla's eating: You learn that Marlon feeds everyone besides Orla, but Sasha and the Captain are responsible for feeding her. It was the Captain's job that morning so why is Orla still hungry?

·Orla and Rifle: The two are friends! Even if orcas eat penguins Orla is still a sweet darling angel who would never hurt anyone. It's really the other way around! Rifle likes to pick fights with Orla.

After some light conversations, Pearl regenerates the magatama so you can break Miss DePlume's psyche-locks. Sasha tells you that Pearl was in the staff corridor during the time of the murder, that's why Fulbright was questioning her, but why was she there? Orca Pool Diagram is updated in the Court Record.

Something doesn't sit right with you, about Pearl being in the staff corridor, so you get transported back to the Aqua Tunnel

Aqua Tunnel (3)[edit]

Mr. Rimes is hitting his bars as per usual, thanking Pearl for finding Rifle. Talk with Pearls once more.

Relation to Rimes: Pearl and Rimes seem to be friends but why won't she answer your questions? Psyche-Lock time!

Pearl's Psyche Locks[edit]

Present the Staff Corridor, she says to have gotten lost and didn't truly know that it was the staff corridor. It seems pretty reasonable as you ask your next question; Why does she smell like fish? Present Rifle's profile. She doesn't know why Rifle was attracted to her, and neither does she know why she smells like fish. Present the Calendar. With that she'll finally talk to you!

Talk with Pearl, again.

Relation to Rimes: While Pearl was distracted with the gift shop everyone had moved ahead and she got lost. In her confusion (and embarrassment) she accidentally went down the wrong corridor and ended up in the food prep room. She meets Marlon in there, both scaring each other and dropping the barrel of fish he was going to use making her smell like fish. But why did she hide it?

Why did you hide it?: Pearl just didn't want Marlon to get in trouble. He said so himself, he didn't want people to know that he was in the food prep room. Why? He was distracted by Pearl's calendar and lost his own calendar, in the mist Pearl actually picks up Marlon's calendar. It says "Meet captain at the orca pool at 7 am!" It was around 10:10 that he entered the prop room... Calendar is updated in the Court Record.

Seems like you're finally prepared for those DePlume Psyche-Locks, head over to the Pub O'Danger!

Pub O'Danger (2)[edit]

Misses DePlume actually reveals that she's waiting for the vet (Dr. Crab)... Dr. Crab has a habit of locking himself in his room and not coming out. But he might not even be there, but before she can actually leave let's figure out those Psyche-Locks!

Norma DePlume's Psyche-Locks[edit]

Of course she doesn't know anything... anything that wouldn't break her promise that is. And of course she doesn't know anything about the murder that just happened. Present the Security Footage. In the footage the person witnesses the attack is Miss DePlume herself! But why IS she here? the answer is A witness to the murder! She promised the police that she wouldn't tell anyone, however... she gives up as you realize that fact. Talk with Norma DePlume again.

Why you're here: She reveals that she witnessed the killer whale's actions! Athena suggests that DePlume was interested in Orla, not scared.

Non-fiction Writer: She writes the whole truth, all the truth, and nothing but the truth. She's been getting info on Orla for a year. being concerned for Orla's violent tendencies. She says that Orla has rumors saying that Orla's attacked people! DePlume is eventually banned from the aquarium, but she 'has her ways'

Orla's violent streak: On the morning of the attack DePlume was doing her usual observation when she starts to hear cries from the tank. There are speakers in the corridor by the ceiling so visitors can hear a killer whale. She saw Orla bite the captain's body! And take his hat!

Bobby is here! In justice we trust! Accidental death is really the only thing that this could be, the Prosecutor's office doesn't find any reason to bring it to court. But one prosecutor found interest but won't take the case until there's evidence of murder. You're transported back to the Orca Pool!

Orca Pool (3)[edit]

As Athena runs over to the pile of mess to investigate she's hit in the head with Orla's volleyball! Well, it wasn't all bad, there's new stuff to look at!

Examine the area of junk to zoom in on it then, examine the yellow circle with feet marks inside it. It's the place you stand to play some v-ball with Orla. Examine the pirate doll right next to the circle. It's a dummy they use to train Orla. 'Examine the tiny little coin next to the body outline. (Actually didn't catch this my first time, thanks[1]! But what were the coins doing all the wait out there? Bloodstained Coin is added to the court record. Where did the rest of the coins go?

Sasha says that she was picking the coins up after the police investigation, she's still missing a few so you decide to see if there's any IN the water. Change your perspective to the opposite side of the room and examine platform on the water. Examine the sparkles at the end of the pool, Sasha will go and get them. 300 coins were found! The seven pounds of coins are taken from Sasha (not including the bloodstained one you found). Select Put them in a bag for how someone could die from coins. Time to show Fulbright your theory! You're teleported to the Pub O'Danger

Pub O'Danger (3)[edit]

All you have to do is present the bloodstained coin, no need to talk with DePlume. Bobby says that he'll call the prosecutor's office (again) for a reinvestigation of the criminal angle.

Bobby is back in no time! Tell you that the prosecutor who was interested the first time is willing to take it to court. It's Prosecutor Blackquill! DePlume is now a witness for the prosecution and Bobby is getting an autopsy. It'll be a challenge, but whos' to say we can't win?
