Wright Anything Agency[edit]

At the agency Larry will suddenly show up and exclaim that he's...married? Larry will introduce us to Ellen, his bride. Supposedly. Ellen will explain that Larry is helping her escape from the police and that she is a murder suspect, wanted for the murder of someone named Dumas Gloomsbury. (And that Larry thinks they are eloping.).

Ellen will ask us to defend her as well, claiming she is innocent with no pysche-locks. She then tells Phoenix that she is a time traveler and the man that attacked her is now dead. Phoenix, of course, doubts this.

Police soon surround the office. Luckily, Ema comes in to talk to us. There's a ton of cops because Larry made a bomb threat. She'll take Ellen to the detention center.

Move to the Detention Center.

Detention Center[edit]

We'll meet up with Ellen here. When Phoenix suggests not taking her case she will burst into hysterics, forcing Phoenix to accept in order to calm her down. Ellen will explain the time traveling story, right as Gloomsbury was about to push her off, she made a wish upon her pendant (a part of a time machine) and said, "Please take me back to that blissful moment!" And was suddenly time traveled back to the wedding reception. Again, Phoenix doesn't believe this. She'll tell us how she found the body after that, Ellan's Pendant will be added to the Court Record.

Larry will then bring up a shadowy figure, Ellen will share that as she was passed out from being attacked a shadowy figure attacked Gloomsbury. However she doesn't know who it was that attacked. Ellen's Statement will be added to the Court Record.

Finish up the convo and move to the Mooring Dock.

Mooring Dock (1)[edit]

Almost immediately Larry will leave to flirt with a random woman. Giving us a chance to investigate alone for a few moments.

Starting from the left, Examine out the big tower to get a comment about the ship being tied to it. Next, Examine the bench to the lower right for some comments. Examine the airship next to the big tower to get more text from Phoenix. And finally Examine the board the bench crashed into to find out it was damaged during a gust of wind last night. These examinations are required for Larry to come back and progress.

Larry will join us after you Examine the board. He'll confirm that we ARE at the reception location and that it's... on the airship. Larry will give us a pamphlet for it as well, Flying Chapel Pamphlet will be added to the Court Record.

Soon after Larry reveals he 'called for backup' and a familiar red sports car will appear - it's Miles Edgeworth and Maya Fey!

Anyways. We'll get to ask Edgeworth some question. Use the Talk button and ask about "The Incident" to learn that Edgeworth is the Prosecutor for this case, that's right - we're having a face off just like old times! Next, ask about "Edgeworth" to see how he's been doing. Seems like he's still busy as ever and he'll be hauling Larry off for questioning, leaving us with Maya as our assistant. Just like so many games ago...

Move to the Reception Hall.

Reception Hall[edit]

We'll meet with Ema while we are up here and get permission to investigate. First use the Talk button to get more information from Ema. Dumas Gloomsbury, the victim, was the lead servant, essentially making him Ellen's boss. Ellen is the main suspect for being found at the scene of the crime, murder weapon in hand. The police think this is a self-defense case.

Ask about the murder weapon to learn it was a clock shaped like a blimp called the Time Keeper and that it's a time machine. Every time the couple sees it they'll be brought back to the memory of their wedding day. The Time Keeper will be added to the Court Record.

Ask Ema about a "star-crossed marriage", apparently there was plenty of opposition to the marriage. Ellen had no family and was a live-in maid, so higher-ups weren't crazy about her marrying the heir of the company. Marrying into money.

We'll be done talking with Ema after that, so now you have to Examine to progress. Inspect the broken object in the middle of the room on the floor. Apparently there were supposed to be a male and female pair of Pegamoos but instead there are 2 males (called 'Pegabulls'). The Broken Lantern will be added to the Court Record. Next, inspect the white chalk body outline to get additional info, Photo of Victim will be added to the Court Record.

Now inspect the wheel to the left with bloodstains, and the paper underneath the left hand of the chalk outline. Apparently it's a note outlining the murder plot, and the victim wrote it. Gloomsbury's Note will be added to the Court Record. Examine the red and yellow flower petal to the right of the chalk outline and you'll be done with the lantern.

Examine the table in the back to get a close-up of the table and Examine the large clock mechanism for additional info. Now Examine the flowers and the table to the left, and you'll be done with this area.

Examine the large air-balloon like figure on the top left to get some text about it. Now Examine the Pegabull in the back right, apparently the backside can be opened to change the lights - and the wheel handle on the inside isn't painted, while the wheel handle on the outside is painted brown.

Next Examine the large plane structure on the top right for more text. Now use the grey arrow on the right side of the bottom 3DS screen to change views and Examine the clock like structure in the back. Apparently it's a fog machine. Fog Machine will be added to the Court Record. Now move your screen to the right again using the arrows and Examine the other fog machine. Examine the large partition screen to the left. Now Examine the red card on the table closest to you, it's Larry's wallet. Business Card Wallet will be added to the Court Record.

Finally, we're done Examining. After some conversation, a mysterious blue-haired man will show up. This is Sorin Sprocket, future president of the Sprocket Aviation and a genius inventor - and Ellen's fiancé. He leaves shortly after giving us a note telling us to leave.

Move to the Mooring Dock.

Mooring Dock (2)[edit]

Here, we'll chase after Sorin and meet up with him, but he's not interested in talking with us. Talk to him here. We'll be ignored. Present Ellen's Pendant to him. Now we've got him.

Now Talk to him about all topics. Here you'll learn various types of information. After that another mysterious person will appear, telling Sorin he has a meeting to attend to. This is Pierce Nichody, the Sprocket family butler. He'll invite us to Sprocket Manor for tea and refreshments.

Move to the Foyer.

Foyer[edit]

Turns out we were baited, Pierce just didn't want to talk about the situation in public.

Examine the table in front of where the man on the left is sitting, there are wedding pictures on it. Photo of Reception will be added to the Court Record. Examine the picture on the table to the far left, in it is a picture of Selena Sprocket, Sorin's sister that passed away in an accident. Selena Sprocket Photo added to the Court Record.

Now Talk to Pierce about all topics here for information. Here we learn that he and a number of other family members walked in to see Ellen holding the Time Machine and Gloomsbury dead below her.

Examine the card on the ground to find Ellen's keycard. Apparently Larry was here at some point as well.

Next go to the right side of the room and Examine the bull, the radio and the bouquet of flowers on the table.

Now, Present Selena Sprocket Photo to Pierce to get the Talking option Sorin's Past.

Now, Larry will show up and then he'll run off. Figures. We have to chase him!

Move to the Mooring Dock.

Mooring Dock (3)[edit]

PW PsycheLock.png

Larry will deny running off and play dumb. Talk to him:

  • What you saw on the airship: Larry denies being on the airship, and 2 Psyche-Locks appear, which we can break.

Phoenix tells Larry if he truly wasn't involved, he wouldn't have been involved with this person. Present Ellen Wyatt's profile.

Talk to Larry again:

  • What you saw on the airship: Larry says he saw a pterodactyl outside a cabin he was locked in. What?! He drew a sketch of it, too; Larry's Drawing will be added to the Court Record. He'll swipe his Business Card Wallet back, since you have no more use for it. Turns out Larry was also in the hold and took a photo, and his Photo of Hold will also be added to the Court Record.

You decide that the investigation's basically over for today, but Maya wants to meet Ellen. Move to the Detention Center.

Detention Center (2)[edit]

Detention Center (2)

There's not much to do here, you'll see Pierce interacting with Ellen and get some information. Talk to Ellen about all available topics and the investigation will wrap up. Save the game and move onto the trial.
