Maps[edit]

For all maps, dark red/brownish squares are normal spaces. Yellow, green, or red squares are colored shafts that require the corresponding stone to rise or descend through at will. Purple lines are false walls, while orange lines are doors which require cards to access.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

Floor 5[edit]

  • You begin the game on the fifth floor (indicated on the map with an X.) Walk forward until the path branches to the left. Take the left branch and follow it until you collect the Loader.
    • It's not a bad idea to spend some time destroying enemies around here until your health reaches 1000.
  • Then continue forward, and walk right and continue to collect Disk 8.
  • Turn around and continue walking forward until you fall through the yellow shaft to the very bottom.

Floor 0[edit]

  • You will land in the center of the map, at coordinate (7, 7), facing west. Walk forward and take the first branch to the left.
  • Continue to walk forward until you reach a wall. Then walk right, and walk left on the next screen. From here, walk forward until you collect the Yellow Stone.
  • After collecting the stone, continue to walk forward, and turn left at the wall. Follow the path around, and you will find Disk 5.
  • Continue to the wall, then turn right. Follow this path all the way to a wall. Turn right, then turn left and continue walking forward until you hit a wall. Then turn left and collect a Card.
  • Walk forward one more screen, and turn right. Walk until you reach a wall, then turn left. Walk forward, and you will collect Disk 4 at the bottom of a yellow shaft.
  • With the yellow stone you may now ascend the shaft. Rise two floors to Floor 2.

Floor 2[edit]

  • From the yellow shaft, exit left when you see some columns. Walk forward until you find Disk 9.
  • Collect the disk and continue until you reach a wall. At the wall, turn right, and follow the path around until you collect the Compass.
  • Continue to follow the path around. Ignore the branch to the right for the time being, and keep going until you collect the first Photo Energy.
    • Once again, you may wish to stand around and fight enemies until your energy reaches 2000.
  • Turn around and go down the branch you previous ignored (now on your left). Follow this path around (through the bottom of a green shaft), and turn left when you reach a wall. Continue along this path until you find a Card.
    • Alternatively, you could turn right when you reach the wall, and follow the path all the way around to collect the Card from the other direction./
  • Once you have the card, turn around and retrace your steps to return to the way you came (through the bottom of the green shaft). Once you pass the green shaft, continue until you reach the corner at (3, 8). Examine the left side of the far wall by walking into it, and you should trigger a pitfall.
    • If you can't find it facing South, turn left, then turn around and examine the left corner while facing West.

Floor 0[edit]

  • When you land on Floor 0, you should see the Green Stone at your feet. Collect it, and exit the room through the southern direction.
  • Turn right, and follow the path around, and take the first branch to the left. Continue forward until you reach a wall, and turn right. This should put you at the bottom of a green shaft. Climb this shaft to floor 5.

Floor 5[edit]

  • Exit the shaft to the north, and continue forward until you collect a Card.
  • Turn around and return to the shaft, but take the left branch instead, and continue forward until you collect another Card.
  • Continue along this path, turning left at the corner, and turning left once again at the next corner. You will find the Counter at the bottom of a yellow shaft, although this shaft leads nowhere.
  • Turn around and walk back to the previous corner. This time, walk left through the wall (it's fake), and continue forward, across the yellow shaft, until you hit a wall at the far end. Then walk right through another fake wall to find the Sensor.
    • With the Sensor in your possession, you will be alerted whenever you are standing next to a wall which is in fact a door.
  • Return to the yellow shaft that you cross and descend to the bottom, Floor 0.

Floor 0[edit]

  • Exit the shaft to the North, and follow the path all the way around until you find the first opportunity to take a left branch. Follow it until you hit a wall, and turn left. Walk forward until you find the yellow shaft which leads back to Floor 2.

Floor 2[edit]

  • Exit the shaft to the east, walk forward until you hit a wall, turn left, and follow the path until you can take a branch to the right. Follow this path around (watch out for the pitfall in the corner) until you reach the bottom of a Green Shaft. Take this shaft up to Floor 7.

Floor 7[edit]

  • When you arrive, walk north up to and through the wall. Turn right at the next wall, and turn left again through a fake wall to find Disk 3. It is guarded by an orange ball that is rather difficult to defeat. It takes 12 shots to defeat, and you may not leave until it is killed.
  • Turn around and exit the room, turn left at the wall, walk forward one screen, and turn left again. You will use up one Card to walk through the door. Here you will find a Photo Energy power-up guarded by a pink ball. This pink ball also requires 12 shots to kill, but is much easier to beat than the orange ball.
  • Turn around and exit the room. Turn left, and the turn right. Walk forward until you collect a Card.
    • It is a very good idea to get your health as close to 4000 as you can, as you will need it against the next mini-boss. The best place to do this is by standing south at location (4, 11).
  • If you continue walking forward from here, you will reach a region of the map where the floor shakes, and you continuously lose health. According to the message on Disk 3, you need to visit the room at (9, 11) where you must fight a spiked blue creature to stop the floor from shaking. From the Card, back up one space, turn right, follow this path to the wall, turn right again, and then turn left through the door. The boss you find here will fly left and right until it is right above you. Then it will drop down and take away a lot of health. Fire up and dodge it before it drops down. It takes 16 shots to defeat.
  • Exit the room and turn left to face South. Walk all the way to the end and turn right at the corner. Then turn left through the wall to find another Card guarded by a pink ball.
  • Exit the room, turn left, walk forward one screen, and turn left through the wall, which is a door which requires a Card. Inside, you will find Disk 10 guarded by an orange ball.
    • If you have lost a lot of health fighting these bosses, restore your health again.
  • From Disk 10, exit the room, turn right, follow the path around until you reach location (8, 9). Turn left to pass through a door that requires a Card note that this door is one-way only. Walk all the way down the hallway. As you do, cannons will fire guns across the way. Do your best to avoid getting shot. Turn left at the end to fall through a red shaft that drops you down to Floor 0.

Floor 0[edit]

  • Walk forward and take the left branch. Walk forward again and you will collect Disk 2 along the way.
  • Continue forward until you reach the end. Turn left and walk forward until you find the Teleporter.
  • After collecting the Teleporter, walk forward through the wall to find the Red Stone.
  • Turn around, and walk to the very end of the hallway. Walk through the wall again to find the third and final Photo Energy. Now your health can reach 9999. However, it's not really necessary to push it far beyond 5000.
  • Turn around and walk forward until you can turn left and walk down the hallway where you collected Disk 2. Proceed all the way to the end, and turn left at the wall. Follow this path all the way to a second red shaft. Climb the shaft all the way to the very top, where you will reach Floor 9.

Floor 9[edit]

Note: The Counter does not work on this floor. Further more, some walls are false and lead to small rooms which contain difficult boss fights.

  • When you arrive, turn left and walk one screen forward to obtain the Marker which is needed to make the Teleporter work.
  • Back up one space and walk left through the wall. Follow this path west, skip the first branch to the left, and take the second one. Follow this path around the corner until you find Disk 6.
  • From Disk 6, turn around and return to the previous hallway. While returning to the east, turn right and take the south branch. Continue walking down the hall until you can turn right again. Follow this crooked path until you locate Disk 12.
  • After collecting the Disk, continue to follow the path all the way around. Eventually you will reach a red shaft. Ignore it for now, but remember this location. Instead, continue bending around the path, until you reach a wall. This wall is false, but do not walk through it. Instead, turn right, walk forward, turn right at the wall, and follow it around until you find Disk 11.
  • Once you have this disk, retrace your steps to return to the red shaft you previously ignore. Drop all the way to the bottom to return once again to Floor 0.

Floor 0[edit]

  • You will be at the bottom of the shaft at (7, 0). Exit east, and turn left to face north. Walk forward, through the yellow shaft, to collect Disk 7.
  • The false wall ahead of you is one-way, so do not pass through it. Instead, turn around, and climb up the yellow shaft to Floor 2.

Floor 2[edit]

  • Walk east all the way to the end of the corridor. Then ascend up the green shaft at the end to floor 5.

Floor 5[edit]

  • Walk east to the end and turn the corner. After you go north one screen, you can either continue traveling north and turn left, or you can turn left immediately, walk west two screens, and turn right to go north. Either way, you will reach a red shaft. Climb this shaft to floor 7.
    • Do not travel west through the wall next to the red shaft, as it is one-way.

Floor 7[edit]

  • Exit south from the shaft and you will be able to collect Disk 1.
  • Travel south through the false wall, and fight the pink cube mini-boss.
  • Then push through the next false wall to the south. Walk forward two screens until the Sensor indicates that there is a door nearby. Walk right to pass through it. You will now have to face an orange cube mini-boss.
  • Push through the next wall. Note that this passage is one-way, you cannot return. Expert players will probably not want to proceed without at least 3000 health points, while beginners should probably not proceed with less than 6000. Don't forget to grab a password if necessary.
  • Continue until you reach the red shaft. Ascend to the very top, and you will reach the highest floor, Floor 10.

Floor 10[edit]

  • Exit the shaft to the north. Walk up the passage and walk through the wall you reach. You will now have to fight a purple ghost mini-boss. You are safe from this boss's attacks by staying on either edge of the screen.
  • Walk through the wall ahead, then walk through the left wall. Proceed straight through next wall, and you must fight another purple ghost.
  • Walk through the wall ahead, then walk through the right wall. You will now begin the first of three difficult fights. This fight is against an orange ghost like creature. He drops projectiles on the ground while he descends to the floor and rises into the air. At the height of his ascent, he drops a translucent image of himself on the floor. If this hits you, it drains a tremendous amount of health from you. The best time to hit the ghost is when it begins to rise off the ground. Then stay clear of it while it climbs to the top and drops the image.
  • When you beat the ghost proceed through the north wall. You will now face a purple demon boss. This boss is very similar to the previous boss with a few minor differences. The projectiles that this boss fires are sprayed in arcs in either direction. This boss will also drop a translucent image of itself at the height of its flight, but this image drops to the floor and sticks around until a new one is ready to drop. This enables it to do substantially more damage to you than the previous boss. Use the same strategy of attacking it when it is on it's way up, and steer clear of it while it reaches the ceiling.
  • When this boss is defeated, the wall will crumble, revealing a face carved into the stone. A creature will appear. This creature zig zags throughout the room, raining projectiles on you. This creature is important, but it is not your target. Your target is actually the eyes of the face on the wall. In order to damage the eyes, the creature must not be hit. When it is hit, it falls to the floor and can drain you of health like the previous boss's translucent images. While it is down, you will be unable to damage the eyes. It will eventually rise again. To hurt the eyes, the creature must be flying, and it must be at the same height or higher than the eyes or your beam won't reach. The vulnerable point on each eye is also quite small, and you must hit it exactly. The only way you will know that you've destroyed one of the eyes is that it will no longer produce its own projectiles, and you won't hear any more hit indications when you fire at it. Once both eyes have taken enough damage, you will win the game.
