Your weapons[edit]

You have a semi-automatic rifle that you can fire. It's best to fire often so you don't give the enemy a chance to fight back, however you'll soon run out of ammo. If you die, however, you'll receive a full clip.

Your grenades are your alternative method of attack. These take about 2 seconds to throw, causing you to be vulnerable. However, if you successfully get one to blow up, all enemies on the screen will be killed.

Items[edit]

  • Ammo: gives you some ammo. Drops off of dead enemies.
  • Explosives: used to blow up the bridge (begin stage 2).

Enemies[edit]

Enemies come in three forms:

  • Walking enemies: these enemies appear from either side of the screen and walk towards you. They will either run into you or stop and shoot at you (they can duck when they do this). If you have your back to a tree, they can't sneak up on you. Shoot quickly to defeat them.
  • Falling enemies: falling enemies are extremely dangerous and are the reason why you need to keep moving. They fall at an angle. If you are walking in the same direction as them, they will fall just slightly behind you, giving you a brief moment to shoot them before they begin walking into you. If you are walking in the opposite direction of their fall (underneath them), turn around quickly and shoot them before they get a chance to move.
  • Ground enemies: these enemies pop up from the ground and fire a single shot before retreating.

Traps[edit]

Traps will instantly kill you.

  • Trip wire: strung across the path (a tan line), the trip wire will detonate nearby explosives. Simply jump over them to avoid it. Enemies cannot cross a trip wire (like a tree).

Objects[edit]

  • Trees: trees block your path and cannot be destroyed.
  • Paths: you'll see breaks in the hedges below and above you. If you press up or down when standing in front of them, you will walk down the path (basically changing your position on the Z axis).
