A few channels become available as soon as you start the game, and more will be given to you as to progress through the game. A few channels can only be unlocked by using the Nintendo e-Reader.

Smeargle's Art Study[edit | edit source]
After you have painted something and put it in your room, Smeargle, the host of the show, will feature your painting on the show and thoughtfully rate it.
Eggzamination[edit | edit source]
This show is one of the three gameshows on Pokémon Channel. On this show, you have to guess which Pokémon will hatch from the egg. The egg will hatch anytime from 2 minutes to 24 hours.
Smoochum Shape-up[edit | edit source]
Watch as Roochu Smoochum goes through a rigorous set of exercises. Pikachu will also take part in these exercises from time to time. You can even join in the exercises. There are 3 random workouts before a series of jumping jacks.
Chansey's Fortune[edit | edit source]
You will be presented with a selection of fortune cookies to choose from. Pick one, and receive your fortune. You can only read on fortune a day.

You can watch the complete'Pichu Bros.' animé all over again, except this time it's narrated in Japanese (by Misty's Japanese voice actor).
PNF (Pokémon News Flash)[edit | edit source]
Psyduck goes over all the latest news in the Pokémon world, along with special reports from other Pokémon, including Meowth. When Meowth interviews, he sometimes gives hints to the location of a rare Pokémon. Psyduck sometimes sleeps through the episode.
Quiz channel 1[edit | edit source]
This channel features an interactive game show where you can earn money, and watch other Pokémon compete for first place. At certain points during the show, one of the various quiz games available will be presented to you, and you must use the cursor to touch the answer on the television screen.
Quiz channel 2[edit | edit source]
This second channel features another way to earn yourself some money. Many Oddish will begin to dance around the screen, your job is to guess whether the final total of on-screen Pokémon will be odd or even.
Ranking channel[edit | edit source]
In this channel, Smoochum will go over various random polls and surveys about anything.
Relaxation channel[edit | edit source]
Mareep will jump over a fence. That's basically it. Pikachu will fall asleep after around 50.
Report channel[edit | edit source]
To progress through the game, you'll have to send reports to Professor Oak. This is also how you save your game.
Shopping channel[edit | edit source]
Here in the Shopping Channel, you can purchase all kinds of items to add to your room, or to any of your collections. You need to earn money from other various tasks in order to have enough to purchase items from this channel.
Weather channel[edit | edit source]
Find out the day's weather report from Slowpoke. The weather affects what and where certain Pokémon appear.
