Here is the list of all the items you can find in the game, plus where you can find them. The order is alphabetical, and the objects are classed by their localisation in your bag, except for the Balls for more clarity. This list will be completed along with the walkthrough.

The material of any respectable trainer[edit]

Trainer Card N/A N/A Start with it Keeps track of player's money, play time, and badges. Not in bag.
Badges N/A N/A Reward for deafeating gym leader Not in bag, but attached to the Trainer Card.
Pokédex N/A N/A Given to you by Professor Birch. Keeps track of Pokémon species the player has seen, gives a description and physical statistics of species the player has caught, the localisation of the Pokémon.
National Pokédex N/A N/A Given to by Professor Birch after beating the Elite Four. Keeps track of Pokémon species from all regions instead of just the character's home and lets find new Pokémon. Not in bag.

PowerHerbPokemon.png Power Herb N/A 50 Held by wild Seedot Allows user to omit first turn of charge-up required moves. Consumed after use. It affects Solar Beam, Skull Bash, Sky Attack, Razor Wind, Fly, Dig, Dive, Bounce, Shadow Force, Freeze Shock, Ice Burn, Phantom Force and Geomancy.
RepelPokemon.png Repel 350 175 Shops; with ability PickUp Prevents wild Pokémon with a lower level than the first member of the party from appearing for 100 steps.

PKMN GreatBall.png Great Ball 600 300 With ability PickUp A good, high-performance Poké Ball that provides a higher Pokémon catch rate than a standard Poké Ball can. (x 1,5)
HGSSPremierBallSprite.pngPremier Ball 200 100 Given when buying 10 Balls or more of any sort A somewhat rare Poké Ball that was made as a commemorative item used to celebrate an event of some sort.
PKMN Pokéball.pngPoké Ball 200 100 10 given in Littleroot Town when getting the Pokédex; Shops; Route 104 South; with ability PickUp A device for catching wild Pokémon. It's thrown like a ball at a Pokémon, comfortably encapsulating its target.

Medicine[edit]

FullRestorePokemon.png Full Restore 3000 1500 With ability PickUp A medicine that can be used to fully restore the HP of a single Pokémon and heal any status conditions it has.
File:HyperPKMN Potion.png Hyper Potion 1200 600 With ability PickUp A spray-type medicine for treating wounds. It can be used to restore 200 HP to an injured Pokémon.
PKMN Potion.png Potion 300 150 10 given in Oldale Town; Shops; Route 102; With ability PickUp A spray-type medicine for treating wounds. It can be used to restore 20 HP to an injured Pokémon.
