Z-Moves are a new mechanic, consisting of a move which is very powerful and can only be used once per battle.
Typed Z-Moves[edit]
There is a Z-Move for every type. A Pokemon must know a move of that type to learn the Z-Move: for instance, Pikachu must know Grass Knot in order to use Bloom Doom.
- Normal - Breakneck Blitz
- Fire - Inferno Overdrive
- Grass - Bloom Doom
- Water - Hydro Vortex
- Electric - Gigavolt Havoc
- Fighting - All-Out Pummeling
- Ghost - Never-Ending Nightmare
- Flying - Supersonic Skystrike
- Poison - Acid Downpour
- Ground - Tectonic Rage
- Rock - Continental Crush
- Bug - Savage Spin-Out
- Psychic - Shattered Psyche
- Ice - Subzero Slammer
- Dragon - Devastating Drake
- Steel - Corkscrew Crash
- Dark - Black Hole Eclipse
- Fairy - Twinkle Tackle
Signature Z-Moves[edit]
Some Pokemon (or groups of Pokemon) have their own signature Z-Moves.
- Decidueye - Sinister Arrow Raid
- Incineroar - Malicious Moonsault
- Primarina - Oceanic Operetta
- Pikachu - Catastropika. If the right crystal is used, it can also learn 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt.
- Eevee - Extreme Evoboost
- Alolan Raichu - Stoked SparkSurfer
- Tapu Bulu, Tapu Lele, Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini - Guardian of Alola
- Mew - Genesis Supernova
- Marshadow - Soul-Stealing 7-Star Strike
