Location Appearance Command Description
Storage closet Look You will see quite a few items in the closet.
Check the vicinity You will notice a jar of oil and some pine tar.
Take the oil jar Percy will tell you that he does not know which will come in handy, but it does not matter, you need to take them in order to see what is beneath them.
Take the pine tar
Look Now that you've taken the jars, you will notice a few more items, a chain and a mirror.
Take the chain You do not need the mirror.
Front hallway You will notice two doors on either side.
Lower right door Hit the door You won't get a response at first.
Move to go back Just as you start to leave, a servant will open the door.
Servant Talk The servant will inform you that the princess is taking a bath.
Upper left door Move to enter This door is unlocked. You will arrive in the bathroom.
Bathroom Hit You will strike the glass, and the orange taking a shower will poke her head out to find out what the trouble is.
Orange Talk She will tell you that Princess Tomato went to take a walk in the garden.
Rear hallway Move left You will notice two passages to the left and right, as well as three doors on the left.
Garden Look You will notice a pond.
Check the pond Percy will volunteer to investigate the pond, but will start having problems when he realizes that he can't swim.
Use the Water Wings Percy will stop drowning, and notice an ornament at the bottom of the pond. Percy will retrieve it for you.
Take the Water Percy will collect some water for you.
Rear Hallway Move Any attempt to move to any of the doors or to the right passage will result in Percy noting the shadow of a guard, and realizing that you can't get past the area without being spotted.
Use the ornament You will throw the ornament, but it will attract the guard rather than distract him.
Guard Use the Oil Jar The guard will slip on the oil and get knocked unconscious.
Use the chain You will tie up the guard with the chain, and be able to proceed without getting caught.
Upper right door Use key Now that you freed up some items in your inventory, return to the front hallway, and use the key on the upper right door.
Locked room Look This room has not been used in a long time.
Check the vicinity You will notice a desk.
Check the desk On the desk you will find a photograph and a piece of paper.
Check the paper On this paper is a letter to the Pumpkin Minister from his son.
Take the letter You take the paper from the table.
Check the letter The letter discusses the marriage between the minister's son and Princess Tomato.
Check the drawers You will find a gold coin in one of them.
Take the coin Grab the coin for later.
Prison door Move to enter You will notice that the door is locked.
Look Amazingly, if you look at the door, you will find the keyring right in front of the door.
Take the keys You must obtain them before you can use them.
Use the keys Naturally, you can use the keys to open the door.

White Leaf
Check the vicinity You will see the four vegetable prisoners in the cell.
Look ×2 You will notice a barrel in the corner of the room.
Check the barrel ×2 You will see a white leaf in the barrel that is withered.
Give the Water The White Leaf will recover.
Talk to White Leaf The White Leaf doubts that you can be trusted.
Use the Crest Showing the crest will convince the White Leaf that you're part of the resistance, and that you can be trusted.
Talk to White Leaf White Leaf will inform you that the son of the Pumpkin Minister is allergic to caterpillars.
Talk to Cabbage He will only say that he hates the minister.
Use the Crest Cabbage will recognize you as part of the resistance.
Talk to Lettuce He is sleepy.
Check Lettuce Lettuce is dirty and when you examine him, you will find a caterpillar.
Talk to Lettuce He will offer to give the caterpillar to you.
Take the caterpillar You will hold on to it for later.
Talk to Green Pepper He has some advice for you, but you must pay him to get it.
Give the gold coin Now Green Pepper will tell you what he knows.
Talk to Green Pepper He tells you a specific pattern: Rock, rock, scissors, paper, scissors, paper, paper, rock. Don't forget it.
Front left door Move to enter Back in the rear hallway, examine the closest of the three left doors. This is the only one which will be unlocked.
Servant's chambers Servant When you arrive, you may think you have spotted Princess Tomato at last, but it's only the servant from ealier.
Check the right door You will find that this door is unlocked.
Princess' chambers Slip into the next room and you will find this bedroom unoccupied.
Look You will see another door to the right, and flowers on the table.
Move to the right door You can try to enter through this door, but you will find that it's locked.
Rear Hallway To continue, you must step back outside for a moment.
Boudoir After you enter the hallway, come all the way back to the Princess' chambers and try the right door again. You will now be able to enter.
Check the Stool You may notice something unusual about it.
Hit the Stool It will sound hollow.
Check the Stool ×2 You will find a hidden compartment in the stool, and inside, you will find a diary.
Check the Diary It turns out to be the diary of Princess Tomato. She talks about the upcoming wedding ceremony, and her attempts to disguise herself and make herself look ugly with makeup.
Princess' Chambers Granny Tomato Once again, you must exit out to the hallway before you return here in order to continue.
Talk ×2 The Granny Tomato will complain that you've entered without permission and ask who you are.
Use the Crest You will attempt to convince her using the crest.
Talk ×2 Even though you've shown her the crest, she will not be convinced.
Princess' Chambers Granny Tomato Give Strange Grass You must leave and re-enter the room to continue. When you come back, use the Strange Grass on Granny Tomato, and it will have the effect of revealing her true identity.
Princess Tomato Talk ×2 Her true identity revealed, the princess won't seem too troubled that you've discovered who she is. She will tell you that you need to regain the Turnip Emblem from Minister Pumpkin.
Minister's door Eggplant soldier Fight ×2 Defeat the Eggplant soldier in Finger Wars to advance to the room beyond the door. The Eggplant soldier's weakness is that he always look up.
Minister's Chambers Look You will see the throne as well as a door that lead further inside.
Check the door The door is unlocked.
Move to the door There's little else of interest in this room.
Minister's Bedroom Look You will see a large bed, a bookshelf, a trophy, and a table.
Check the Bookshelf You will see many books on it.
Take a book You will grab one of the books.
Check the book The book contains a particular clue about how to proceed through a maze when you stumble upon a baby monster.
Check the Bed The bed will move and a flight of stairs will be revealed below it.
Check the Stairs Before you're ready to move through them, you will be pushed down by someone.
Dungeon

Your goal in this dungeon is to locate the papa monster and defeat him in battle. In order to do this, you will first have to locate the baby monster, and then proceed through the maze in a particular fashion in order to encounter the father. Throughout the dungeon, you are likely to encounter the mama several times at various dead-ends. You begin at the square labeled S.
  • M: These are the squares where you will encounter the mama monster. The mother monster starts with three "points," and always looks left if defeated in the rock-paper-scissors portion of Finger Wars. Whenever you win, the mother runs off to another location.
  • B: This is the location where you will find the baby monster. Being so young, it does not pose a threat, but you must find him first, and the traverse the dungeon in a particular way to reach the father.
  • P: This is where the papa monster will appear and fight you. However, in order to find him there, you must start from the baby's location, turn around, and proceed through the dungeon travelling as straight as possible, turning only when you are forced to. Along the way, you will encounter three holes in the ground who each provide a message whenever you pass them. If you arrive at the P in any other manner, all you will find is a breeze coming through the wall.
Dungeon Papa Monster Fight Like the Mama Monster, the Papa Monster will only ever look left. Other than having to defeat it more times to win, it is the same. When you win, you will return to the Minister's chambers.
Minister's Bedroom Minister Pumpkin Look You will finally come face to face with Minister Pumpkin
Fight You must defeat the Minister in Finger Wars. You have one advantage: the clue that the Green Pepper gave you in the prison. It happens to be the strategy that the Minister uses to fight. When he reaches the end of the sequence, he starts it right back over. To counter this sequence, all you must do is use paper, paper, rock, scissors, rock, scissors, scissors, paper, and so on until you defeat him.
Talk After defeating the minister, he will tell you that he does not have the Turnip Emblem, and that he gave it to his son.
Princess' Chambers Princess Tomato Talk ×2 She will ask about the Turnip Emblem, but ultimately, she will agree that it's time to escape.
Garden Move to exit You will escape from the minister's compound and return to safety with the princess.
