Boss[edit]

Depending on when the Prinnies come to the Forest, they will face either Anise or the duo Kim and Chi. Just dealing with two bosses at once can increase the difficulty, so it's generally preferred to face Anise. Raiding the Forest as the third or fifth stage will cause Anise to appear as the stage's boss. If the player chooses the Forest during the fifth hour, then the player will face all three at the same time.

Anise[edit]

Anise is very predictable, and spends much of her time in cat form, where she not only can't take any damage, but can't really do any damage, either. She will run from one end of the room to the other, stopping on either end to cast some spells or swing her axe.

If she casts spells, she'll summon one or two monsters carrying bombs. Kill off the monsters quickly and stun Anise with a pair of quick Hip-Bumps (she has two skulls on her health bar that have to be knocked off before she becomes stunned). Two or three rounds of stunning and then slashing her into oblivion should set her into critical health.

Her only major change of pattern in critical mode is that she may cast a spell that launches a large magic bolt at the Prinny that will be pretty hard to avoid anywhere near Anise. Try to keep close to her when she's getting near either end of the room in cat form and hit her fast when she starts casting her spells, or get away from her if you see the spell coming. One more pair of Hip-Bumps and another lashing from the Prinny slashes should take her down quickly.

Kim and Chi[edit]

Kim and Chi are more difficult because there are two of them rather than because of anything they do in particular. The Prinnies will find it easier to deal with them if the pair are kept apart. Just stay away from them when possible and try to get a Hip-Bump on one of them when the individual attempts an attack. Both Kim and Chi telegraph their attacks by yelling and giving off a bright burst of light. They also conveniently stay very still while attacking, leaving them wide open to the Hip-Bump if the Prinny can avoid being hit in the first place.

Don't bother trying to stun both of them at once unless they're staying close together (try not to let them do that). As with most boss battles, stun one with a Hip-Bump and use a barrage of air-slashes to do some damage. Keep an eye out for the second boss, in order to avoid an attack if necessary. Two or three rounds of air-slashes on each boss and the battle will be over. Once one of them is out of the way the other will be much easier to handle.

It's best to focus on one first, then tackling the other. Chi(Red) is the more aggressive one, while Kim(Green) is more of a supporting fighter in the duo.

The twins appear when you visit the stage as your second or fourth stage.

Kim, Chi, and Anise[edit]

Fighting against three bosses at the same time is certainly troublesome. Although Anise loses her summoning attack, she constantly uses her magic bolt unless the Prinny is really close to her, in which case she uses her axe and twins attacks haven't changed at all. Luckily, their health drops pretty quickly with air slashing and it only take one Hip-Bump to stun the twins and two for Anise.

The best strategy is to take them out one at a time like the Kim and Chi battles. The trick, though, is to always watch out where Anise's magic bolt will fire. It will target whatever position the Prinny was when the magic circle appears, so always take that into consideration as the twins jump all over the stage. If the player is really quickly in mashing the square button, an air slash can take out each of the bosses after stunning them twice. Start with either Kim or Chi and once you defeat one of them, aim for the next twin. Once Anise is alone, she isn't very difficult, although do be careful of her magic bolt.

The three of them appear as the boss when you go to this stage as the sixth one.
