Pin your opponent[edit]

Once you pick out your wrestler, you can start a new game. By using the control pad and buttons A button and B button in combination, you can use a variety of techniques during the match. At first, use the standard techniques like the Body Slam and the Punch. Then when the opponent weakens, use bolder techniques such as the Brainbuster and Piledriver.

In order to beat the opponent in the ring, you have to get a Three-Count Fall. If you press A button when you are near a downed opponent, you can pin him to the mat. You can even fight outside the ring. However, you will lose the match on a foul if you don't get back into the ring before the 20-second time limit is up. Be careful!

Basic moves[edit]

Standing attacks[edit]

Button Attack Description
A button Rolling Sobat This twirling kick packs a punch that will knock any opponent to the mat.
B button Punch The Punch may not be strong but it is quick and can catch your opponent off guard. If you trade too many of them, one of you will fall.

Top rope attacks[edit]

Top rope attacks are executed by walking to the top corner post on either side, and pushing up.

Button Attack Description
A button Flying Splash You will launch yourself from the top rope in a full body splash position in an attempt to flatten your opponent.
B button Double Knee Drop As you jump off the top ropes, you will dive down towards the mat, knees first. Just hope that your opponent is underneath when you land.

Running attacks[edit]

Running attacks are executed by tapping Left dpadLeft dpad or Right dpadRight dpad very quickly. Once your fighter is running, they will automatically bounce off the ropes and run back in the opposite direction. You can execute a running attack before or after you hit the rope.

Button Attack Description
A button Clothesline You will stick your arm out as you run, crashing into the opponents neck, dropping them like a rock.
hold A button while you run Outside Splash You can only execute this move if your opponent happens to be outside the ring while you are still inside. You will run towards the ropes and hop over the top, ending in a body splash attack.
B button Knee Lift In the middle of your run, you will jump into the air with one knee lifted higher. If you connect with your knee, the opponent will fall to the floor.

Grapple attacks[edit]

Grapple attacks can be executed whenever both wrestlers walk up to one another. They will automatically grab each other. What happens next depends on who acts faster.

Button Attack Description
Left dpad+A button or
Right dpad+A button
Backdrop You will slip behind your opponent, lift the opponent over your shoulders, and flip over backwards, dropping the opponent on the mat on their back.
Up dpad+A button Brain Buster In order to execute the Brain Buster, your opponent must be rather weak, or it may have the potential to backfire on you. If successful, you will lift the opponent up in the air, over your shoulders, and fall backwards, causing the opponent to crash down on their head.
Down dpad+A button Piledriver When you execute a Piledriver, you will flip the opponent upside down and drop to the floor, dropping the opponent on their head in the process.
B button Body Slam You will grab your opponent, lift them off the ground, flip them around, and slam them back down on the mat on their back.
Left dpad+B button or
Right dpad+B button
Hammer Throw When you perform a Hammer Throw, you will whip the opponent towards the ropes, setting them up for a follow up attack when they rebound in your direction.

On downed opponents[edit]

Button Attack Description
A button Pin opponent When you push A while your opponent is lying down, you will assume the pin position and the ref will start the pin count. If your opponent is not weak enough yet, they will push you off.
B button Head lift If you push B when standing close to a fallen opponent, you will lift them up by the face, depriving them of a chance to fully recover from the last attack. You won't necessarily set them up for an immediate follow up, but you might get lucky if you're quick.
