Puckman Pockimon is an arcade game, which was released by Genie in 2000; it runs on Sega's C2 hardware, and stars Namco's signature character Pac-Man as well as Nintendo's signature Pokémon Pikachu, but is not officially part of the Pac-Man or Pokémon series'. Both players must use two 4-way joysticks to direct Pac-Man and Pikachu around the mazes, while avoiding both the four original ghosts and various other Pokémon. Most of the music and effects heard for this game were taken from Midway's Ms. Pac-Man although they were not originally heard on the Yamaha YM-2612 and Texas Instruments SN-76496 (as they did not exist in 1981). Also, when the players clear a round, they are shown a digitized photograph of a Korean woman, as that is the country where this game originated.
