Brannoch castle[edit]

The castle and its courtyard are filled with enemies, mostly fish and butterfly in the courtyard, and exclusively Red Rose and White Rose knights inside the castle. Additionally, the castle is protected to prevent use of the Exit spell.

The main gate is locked, but back entrance can be accessed from the left of the castle. There is one spirit on the balcony. The inside of the castle is made of large rooms generally free of enemies connected by a large stairwell. After the first descending stairwell, the floors can be described as follows:

  1. an internal balcony going around the enrtance hall; the locked gate can be seen from it;
  2. in an alcove near the chest is a door leading to a room with one spirit,
  3. an internal balcony connects four cannons in the corners of the castle;
  4. a suspeded arena where Guilty is waiting for Brian and the four elemental jewels;
  5. internal bridges connect another four cannons in the castle corners; there are two chests here;
  6. in front of a chest in the stairwell corridor is a small door; inside the room are five chests, one spirit and Leonardo, who will allow you to save game (remember that the exit spell doesn't work);
  7. a room with a diorama of Celtland, where Brian can meet Shannon and another person; there are two chests, too;
  8. King Beigis' throne room;
  9. the castle roof.

Boss: Guilty[edit]

Monster Element HP Atk Def Agi
Guilty n/a 1800 34 88 120

Guilty's long-mid range attack is slamming homing claws against you that you cannot dodge, though it can miss occassionally. If Guilty gets close, he will use a more powerful attack. Like usual, it is best to keep distance to minimize damage. If using close range attacked, protect Brian with Earth's Magic Barrier.

Boss: King Beigis[edit]

Unlike the previous bosses you fought, Beigis does more damage from far range than close range. His green laser beam does a lot of damage, compared to his close to mid ranged sword cutter. Get as close as possible, which may take up to 3 turns to do so. Protect Brian with Earth's Magic Barrier. The water element does the most damage to him.

World of Mammon[edit]

Access the stone circle, and you are teleported outside a castle. There is no way back, here as well as in any of the rooms "inside" the castle, if such endless spaces can be defined as "inside" of anything.

  1. a large area with white classic archways
  2. a winding path suspended between endless columns;
  3. a small room with one door only; open that door again to go to the next area;
  4. a huge stair immerseded in a pink bubbly sky;
  5. a weird forest with a purple lake in the middle;
  6. a foggy house on two floors; the only exit is the entrance door;
  7. archways in a pink sky;
  8. a forest of dead trees in a blue sky;
  9. the hull of a ship;
  10. apparently, the same winding path suspended between columns as before; note, though, that the sky has a different color;
  11. a small room where Epona allows you to save game;
  12. a dark copy of Melrode village; no door can be opened, save for the gate leading to the monastery;
  13. another dead forest, identical to the previous one;
  14. a square area where Shannon waits for Brian.

After speaking with Shannon, she teleports Brian to the gaol where Mammon waits to be freed by the power of the four elemental jewels and of the Eletale Book.

Boss: Mammon[edit]

Monster Element HP Atk Def Agi
Mammon n/a 2300 41 100 150

Mammon takes the appearance of a large humanoid demon, and has a set of three attacks.

  1. Flame Walls: This is a spread of three walls, which are easiest to dodge if you aren't too close. It does the most damage if it connects.
  2. Flame Arrows: This is a large batch of homing arrows in a tight formation. There is a chance some of them may miss.
  3. Solar Blast: The attack only does minor damage, but it dispels any enchantments.

Mammon's arena is a simple semi-circle platform. The left-hand side of the platform is slightly more distant, with the right-hand side allowing you to reach staff range.

The easiest method is to use Earth's Magic Barrier to avoid all damage, heading to the right-hand of the platform, then using Earth's Avalanche to hit Mammon multiple times.
