Quiz Torimonochou (苦胃頭捕物帳 lit. Kuizu Torimonochō) is a quiz arcade game that was released by Taito Corporation in 1990 only in Japan; it runs upon that company's F2 hardware, and it was later ported to the Sharp X68000 in 1992. It is also the first game from the company where a knowledge of the three Japanese writing systems (Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana) is essential for players who wish to succeed in it - and the players must help two Japanese lords, Heihachi (平八, red), and Nariyoshi (成吉, blue) finish seven rounds, by answering multiple-choice Japanese questions correctly. Each of the rounds is comprised of eighteen questions divided into four scenes - and the final scene for every round has four question categories for players to choose from. After completing a round, there is also a bonus scene (similar to Coconuts' Amida) which gives the players a chance to earn a bonus onigiri.

After clearing a scene, the game shall also occasionally invoke a bonus challenge where the players will have ten seconds to press (or avoid pressing) the answer buttons displayed on the screen; once the timer has run out, both players will receive a bonus onigiri for every five points they still have (for if they should ever respond incorrectly, they will lose a point). However, this challenge will never get invoked after clearing the fourth scene of any round, due to the fact that its boss shall always follow, and in a two-player game the player with more right answers chooses the boss's question category.
