RIP 2: Strike Back is a standard shooter, where the objective is to kill anything on the screen. Although this seems simple, there are a few levels of the 60 which may be difficult.

Level 8 - Crimson Snowfield[edit]

There are a lot of enemies, and most likely you have the lightning gun at this level. Enemies will approach from all directions.

With the lightning gun, you can spin around to clear out most enemies, or wait in a corner and do a quick sweep.

When the enemy count drops to 122, the final wave will start. You can quickly clear it using the dragon pickup that drops.

Level 10 - Airfield[edit]

The first boss

The first boss of the game is a flying aircraft. It shoots a fan of three bullets from its center, and fires six vertical beams from its wings.

While it is easily destroyed by sustained fire, you need to grab a pickup before you finish it off. At the bottom-left corner of the stage, there is a skeleton with a gold experience pickup. Collect this pickup and finish the aircraft off for a massive experience boost.

Level 11 - Spider War[edit]

A skeletion carries a gold experience pickup at the top-right corner.

Level 13 - Garage[edit]

This is a difficult level, where you need to defeat nine tanks with a turret. If you have not upgraded your firepower skills (damage or firing rate), you will have difficulty with this level. As Halloween, you can also freeze the tanks.

The first tank arrives at the top-left corner, and can be destroted with the turret's alternate fire. This is then followed by two tanks arriving below the turret and above and to the right. If the turret is destroyed, you may have to restart the level, but you can still complete it by using the primart fire of the UZI or Lightning gun.

The tanks come in three waves, and you should have a repair pickup available between waves.

Level 20 - Descent[edit]

The second boss

This boss is immune to the secondary fire of the UZI and the shotgun. Also, if you haven't upgraded firepower, you need to find the lightning gun as well.

Level 25 - Aztecs[edit]

Minimize shots, and defeat only the enemies that are on the spiraling path. Look for the gold exp pickup at the bottom right corner, and wipe out the group by shooting an explosive barrel.

Level 30 - Vertibird[edit]

The boss is vulnerable to the rocket launcher, but will take a few hits to destroy.

Level 40 - Cruiser[edit]

This boss doesn't appear to take damage at first, but if you keep shooting the turrets, the damage will begin to be visible in the boss health bar.

You can still hit the boss as it approaches from the south.

Level 50 - Generals[edit]

This boss will teleport randomly. When it does, attack it and hide behind cover.

Level 60 - Avenger[edit]

As with the previous boss, it will teleport randomly. You have a choice of two weapons, a minigun or the shotgun. If you choose the minigun, your movement will be slowed, making it harder to hide behind the blocks before it launches the attack.

If you have the shotgun, you can more easily hide behind blocks, while inflicting damage. If you run out of blocks, you can also attempt to dodge some attacks by making extremely tight circles, but this doesn't work on some of its attacks.

When you defeat the boss, you will be presented with the credit sequence, which lists some cheat codes that may be used later.
