This is not an easy game to get through. Nor is it hard. There's no difficulty for you to choose from but it's your actions which affect where you are in the game. You have to keep in mind these pointers as you go through the game.

Sword fight[edit]

  • Sword fights follow a pattern. Mostly predictable. Parry or dodge attacks, then you must strike back to end the match. If your opponent is too far out, you and he will automatically go back to the centre to continue fighting each other.
  • At the end of a sword fight, you can choose to kill the person or withdraw your weapon to let him live. You earn respect if you let your enemies live as they surrender the fight. Take note that it's always a one on one fight. Don't expect a one on many fight anytime soon.
  • If you choose to kill the person, the story will slightly change, making your progress much harder than before. In other words, you can be an honourable sword fighter or a sword killer that doesn't show any mercy to your opponent.

Shooting[edit]

  • Don't rush into the game. If it's your first time, take it slowly.
  • Should you die, you'll start at the checkpoint. This should help you figure out how to get to your foes as you get into a gun fight.
  • Depending on taste, you can choose which weapons you want to use whether pistols, machine guns or the shotgun.

Others[edit]

  • Harry's Bar in Tokyo is where you go to for training. You will need to learn more sword techniques, focus and more weapons to survive in this game.
  • If you're stuck, look around for enemies to lead you along the way, as well as finding items and opening sections which should lead you to your goal.
