Placing the Emblems[edit]
Go up the stairs and go to the right and you'll see a Majini. They'll get burned by a laser, so no need to waste your ammo. Go forward by moving into the openings and using good timing until you reach a path all the way at the end to the right of the laser. Go up the stairs and get ready to kill some more Majini. They'll come up behind and in front of you, so watch your back. Go up the stairs when you're finished and pick up the Earth Emblem. Now go back to the middle and place the emblem.
This time you'll be going to the left of where you have to place the emblems. The same laser will be here, but the place you have to go is right across. Go into the passageway and cross the bridge to trigger a Majini attack. Fight them down and go up the stairs. Pick up the Sea Emblem and place it back in the middle. Go back to the left but this time, move up the path the laser is going across until you see another doorway to your left. Go in it and you'll see another laser. You'll have to move up until you reach the area behind the laser, just like for the first emblem. Go up the stairs and go left, but watch out for the lasers once again. If you're playing as Sheva, you'll have to have Chris boost you across the gap and go up the stairs to pick up the final emblem, the Sky Emblem. Keep going and then jump back down to where Chris is. If you're playing as Chris, use a rifle or explosives to watch Sheva's back. One of the larger Majini will come for you, so get rid of him and then meet up with Sheva. Get back to the middle, place the emblem, and go up the stairs. You may not like this place, but don't think you're finished with the ruins just yet.
Mirror Puzzle[edit]
Get the door opened and you'll be faced with a confusing abomination - the mirror puzzles! Don't get too stressed out though. It's actually much simpler than it looks. The first floor of the puzzle will have you only turning one mirror. Turn the mirror with the laser that's facing the wall to face the mirror with the large white square below it. Make sure your partner doesn't get hit by the laser though. This results in definite death. When the laser hits the mirror, you'll be free to ride the elevator down to the next puzzle.
Start off by kicking down the two piles of blocks. Again, keeping turning the mirrors that have mirrors facing the wall to face mirrors. Soon enough, you'll get the laser to shine on the last mirror and the elevator will be open for use. Go down to the next puzzle.

This puzzle is a little trickier than the other two. Go to where the monkey statue is and turn the mirror to the right of that to face another mirror. Now go around and turn the mirror to the left of the statue. Go back around and turn the mirror that's facing the wall. This will open two rooms full of treasures. When you've collected all the treasures, go back to the puzzle. Go to the mirror in front of the mirror to the left of the monkey statue and turn it to face the wall. Go in the middle and turn the mirror without a laser to the left to face the mirror on top of the elevator. Now turn the mirror facing the wall to the one you just turned and the elevator will be ready to use. Walk up to the flowers after using the elevator and the chapter will end.
