On the way on a bus trip, things turn for the worst in this cutscene: crashing into zombies, a truck and a bus crash near the cliff. What a rotten way to go. Your goal is still have to go to the church so you can catch a breather.
Last time on the bus[edit]
With the policeman and a girl, overwhelmed by zombies, you'll be on the ground, on your back so shoot as many as you can before the bus falls off the cliff. When that happens, all the survivors on the bus died. So, there's little choice but to move on.
Silent graveyard[edit]
If your GPS is automatically on, you just follow the path, knocking zombies out of the way until you reach the gate entrance. But, you need a key to open it. So go check inside the house on the right of the entrance. When you reach a locked door, shoot the lock open and go in, only to see a dog with the key running out. Great! So continue your search through the graveyard until you find the dog with the key.
So, once you found the key, make your way back to the gate entrance. As you walk through it, Leon, falls off with a zombie attacking him. It's far from over since Leon and Helena get separated. So if you're Leon, you have to get all the way back to the gate entrance while has Helena, you should go to Leon first before going to the gate entrance.
Church entrance fight[edit]
Leon and Helena tries to get in but to no avail. So fight as many as you can and break the remaining crates as your ammo supply might just run out. When the sniper comes out, that means the fight is nearly finished. Continue until someone inside gives in. You'll see a cutscene of the inside of the church.
Church puzzle breather[edit]
Now that's out of the way, you can save your strength to do this crazy puzzle. After checking the back end of the church, this is the time for puzzle solving. Grab the statue on the right side. Then check the bottom floor for the statue. Then the top. But you need Helena to get the ladder down. After that, check the top floor for the statue before setting both statues on both sides just to open the door.
Statues and sunlight[edit]
Now go down to the unlocked door for some more puzzles. The first both rooms is just pressing a button on a statue so it can retract itself. Do the same, several times on the next room. Watch out for more zombies on the way. Grab the statue after the statue puzzle and go upstairs to grab a sniper rifle. The next part is kind of tricky. Try to shoot the five bells towers on both sides. Two of them involves small bells with the roosters which is tricky so zoom in some more and time your shots. Should you run out of ammo, grab some more but if you can't, lose the grenades and remote bombs and even make more health items before grabbing more sniper ammo.
Monster in the church[edit]
Grab the final statue and go back to the central part of the church but near the entrance on the second floor. The big statue moves out of the way but sadly, the break ends here. A big monster manages to affect some people with blue gas, obviously turning into zombies. So the main goal is to take down the big monster. Why?, he has a key card and you can't open the locked door beneath it. So blast it with bullets and don't forget to use hand and incendiary grenades to make short work of it, depending on difficulty.
Passage to the underground lab[edit]
After defeating the big monster and grabbing his key, go to the locked door but make a final check for ammo and skill points before you go. The next two parts involve pressing buttons and shooting more zombies. Well, there's only zero, one and two button that's limited to which buttons open to which door. It should be simple, but if you want supplies, do all the codes to unlock all doors.
Do the same on the other side then go through the open gate. There will be a long narrow passageway. Go through it until you reach a lab that contains C-virus monsters inside the water cage. A cutscene will show a video of a slimy cocoon spitting out a naked girl that looks like Ada! Also along the way, it turns out, Helena is looking for Deborah.
Zombie Switch[edit]
This might involve teamwork. As soon as you unlock the next door, go in and start levelling the switches. If you're GPS is set on auto, you should follow the arrows as you shoot down zombies, grab more ammo through crates and continue going around the maze. At one point, Leon and Helena would be separated. So have Leon go underneath to the other side with the ladder and continue pulling switches. Have Helena boost on top of the cage and go to the other side for the final switch pull. When the zombies is starting to overwhelm you, Leon and Helena has to go through the chute thus ending this final part of the chapter.
