Flatirons Mall[edit]

The Flatirons Mall is so large it sprawls over two sections, so there's a west portion and an east portion. With so many shops, it can be hard to determine the best way to spend your hard earned cash. But there's one store that's an absolute game changer: Happy Feet Shoes in the east side.

Shoes are a very expensive investment, but combined with the Dragon Feet technique, they have the power to transform into an unstoppable kicking machine. The only question is how much you're willing to spend. If you can hold out for the most expensive option, the Texas Boots for $99.95, and equip them, you will never have to invest in your Kick and Agility stats for the rest of the game. Wearing them, normal grunt will fall with a single attack. They are a worthwhile investment if you can grind for the cash.

As for the rest of the stores, The Roman Cow offers good stamina restoring refreshments with some small stat boosts. The candy shop is actually a very economic way to tweak individual stats that you'd like to raise. The Toy Store is a tad expensive for what it has to offer, but the CD Store is a bit more reasonable for useful Stamina boosts that you can take on the go with you, with additional stat bonuses.

Flatirons Downtown East[edit]

There's nothing to special about the east side of the Flatirons' downtown. However, a pair of barriers in the middle present you with a nice opportunity to catch a break from the fighting, as the enemies won't follow you up there. Gang members will happily make use of the boxes and rocks scattered around the area, so be on your guard, or throw them off screen to take them out of the equation.

You'll arrive on a street in front of a seemingly abandoned factory. Gang members that occupy this turf like to make use of the boxes and tires around the area. Don't go running to the right, or you'll slam into the visible dead-end. Your next destination is actually through the doors of the factory.

You'll be attacked by gang members as soon as you set foot inside the building. It's important to note that if you fall off the ledge in front of the entrance, you instantly die and return to the Flatirons Mall, so be careful. Walk along the top portion by the entrance until you can safely drop down to the area below. Dropping down is a one-way trip, so make sure you've bought everything you want from Flatirons Mall before you proceed. Even on this bottom section, you can still fall to your death if you walk too low. Make your way to the open door on the right to return to the upper portion of the factory interior, in order to continue through the doors on the far right.

Upon arriving here, if you've defeated all of the other Zombie bosses, Thor will be waiting for you in the back of the room. If you haven't defeated all of the necessary bosses first, then the area will be infested with gang members like a normal stage. It goes without saying that you should avoid the huge gap in the middle of the room, and use the ledge in the back to reach the right side safely.

Thor will be waiting for you, but even after he finishes speaking, he won't attack until you drop down to his platform. You can use this to your advantage throughout the fight. If he gets the better of you, you can jump back up to the ledge to get a breather in before jumping back down to resume the fight.

Thor won't go down easy. Throw him against the wall a couple of times to rough him up, but do NOT throw him into the gap, or your victory won't count. If this happens, leave the room and return to start the fight over. Upon defeating Thor, he lets you know that Ivan guards the gate to the High School. He is your next target.
